One room was lovely, the standard double was ok, but I could not open the window. Breakfast did not start until 8.30am which was a little late for us, so we had to leave without that

The room was spacious and clean with small seating area overlooking garden. Food was excellent i.e. breakfast and dinner, using locally sourced produce. Nice touch was fresh milk for room tea and coffee facilities not the dreaded UHT pod and fresh biscuits. Tyler the host was very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Picked this hotel because it was close to the places we wanted to visit.

Wenhaston is a lovely friendly place with two pubs within walking distance. Lots to do and see nearby. There's no shop but a good Co-op and other shops in nearby Halesham. Good place to visit beaches etc. You must visit the historic church and it's "Doom" painitng
