I recently stayed at Best Western The Hilcroft Hotel West Lothian, and I was thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness. Both the hotel and my room were spotless and exceptionally well-maintained. Amazing location, really close to the train station and a local shop, lovely woodlands nearby and an absolutely beautiful room! Arrived at 10pm and the staff were very accommodating and allowed for a late checkin, the room was very clean, comfortable, and cozy, would 100% recommend and stay again :)

Staff was very welcoming. Sent us directions by text as we journeyed up to ensure that we didn't miss the turn into the property (which is not that easy to spot) - made us a pot of tea on arrival - and had whisky available as a nightcap in the drawing room for free. House itself is large and with eclectic collections of antiques on show. Situated in its own grounds and so a pretty quiet location.
