The staff throughout the hotel were incredibly welcoming and accomodating. It was our son's 5th Birthday and asked if they could help us with decorating the room for us prior to check in. The staff went out, purchased balloons, streamers, hats and cake and candles for us and decorated the room for us too. Absolutely amazing service.

Linton Hotel Luton, hotel in Whipsnade

Providing free parking and free WiFi throughout the property, Linton Hotel Luton is a family run hotel located in Luton. This property features a fitness centre.

Location was fantastic, very easy to find being a short drive car to the airport, the M1 and about 20 minute walk from Luton Town. Well cooked breakfast offered with a reasonable range of additional options. They provided gluten free toast which was a bonus and all staff members we came across were lovely and helpful! The Linton is an exquisitely decorated hotel with European/Italian vibes which added a touch of class and heaps of additional facilities available! Would definitely come back!!!

Whipsnade is a wonderful zoo in beautiful countryside. On a very wet day we got to see tigers play fighting, elephants chasing the zoo train and hippos rolling in the pool. It's the UK's largest zoo and you'll need your walking shoes but there is so much to see and do, and plenty of cafes.

Great pub stay. Staff extremely pleasant and welcoming.

Great pub stay. Staff extremely pleasant and welcoming. Made it clear they were there to offer any help required. I was a single adult staying only one night and the room was just right for that. Attractively well furnished, spotlessly clean and very comfortable bed. Brilliant, well furnished garden outside. In the countryside, Whipsnade Zoo within walking distance and close to Dunstable Downs so great area for walking and gliding! Not far from Woburn Abbey, other attractive small villages as well as Milton Keynes. Easy to find and close to Luton Airport with a nearby network of major routes such as the MI and train links only a short car distance away into London.

We took a circular walk starting at Hunter's Lodge that took in some beautiful countryside and amazing views over Dunstable Downs AONB. It was good to get inside the View Cafe, out of the windy weather, for a coffee and to view the gliders and birds of prey. A rather muddy walk from there to the Tree Cathedral, which was well worth a visit.
