The view was amazing, such a lovely area to wake up to. The cottage studio had everything we needed for our stay. The tea, coffee and fresh milk provided was a lovely touch and the park and trampoline were fab for the kids.
Great position if you are visiting Alton Towers or Splash Landings.
There are local country pubs and shops nearby to get whatever you need.
The host was lovely. We would definitely return if we're in the area again.

Abbey was helpful and communicated check in and check out well. She booked us a meal at the local pub in time for our arrival and gave a list of places to eat locally. The room was beautifully furnished and presented and had everything we could have wanted including access to our TV subscriptions and air con unit. Also very happy that the teabags were Yorkshire.

Hotel is in a lovely setting, plenty of parking, and very tastefully decorated. Lovely views, and spacious restaurant, bar, and bedrooms.
Very close to Alton Towers.
Not signposted from main road so we had a bit of a tour of the village before we found it.

Good value for money and a lovely overnight stay for us.
Good value for money and a lovely overnight stay for us. A clean, comfortable room with good facilities. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. The staff were first class- very friendly and helpful. You enter the hotel from a rear car park, which doesn’t give the best first impression, but once in the main reception area you are re-assured. The hotel is on a very quiet, peaceful location. It is not sign-posted at all from the A52 through Whiston, which is not ideal especially as the turning into the very narrow lane is tight and not obvious.

Excellent. Couldn't fault the stay. Staff were exceptional.
Excellent. Couldn't fault the stay. Staff were exceptional. Food looked and tasted fantastic. Alton towers was less than 10mins away. Thank you to the staff who decorated our room for my girlfriends 40th birthday. Totally shocked when she opened the door; balloons, card and prosecco.

Fantastic!
Fantastic!
Just got back from a 2 night stay... the young lady who was there the whole time we were, was so lovely. She is a real credit to the place and nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing and a great price... and so are the drinks!
Definitely be going back!!
Fantastic family run business!
I was apprehensive about coming this far from home and we’ve not always had the best experience with hotels but this beautiful place has restored that. The staff were so polite and helpful. The rooms were relaxing which is just what we needed. And the scenery was just stunning. The meal in the restaurant was delicious I only ordered a starter as I don’t eat a lot, it was more than big enough for me. All in all we had a amazing time the grounds were beautiful and we were well rested ready for our day at Alton Towers.
The breakfast. Location and cleanliness of the hotel was superb. The evening dinner was fantastic as well, Domi & Jack really did go the extra mile and met all expectations!
I would most certainly stay here again, fantastic ten minute drive to Alton Towers which is what we travelled there for. We had bedroom 3
The hotel is in a great location. The staff were amazing & so hard working! Even working long days they always have a smile of their face and remembered little things about our group from the evening meal to breakfast the next day.
There was a limited choice for evening food but it was all lovely & very tasty.
The hotel decor is stylish and very comfortable. Staff were fantastic and made the stay a most enjoyable one., especially the manageress - brilliant hostess!! The food was fantastic- great presentation, portions and quality. We will definitely book again!
I loved the picturesque nature of the hotel, it was very clean, big and spacious rooms, lovely helpful and friendly staff. I would happily stay there again and would certainly recommend it to others who may be thinking of staying there.
