The location was perfect. Lady at reception was very nice and we got an early check in. Close to everything we needed. Lovely and clean throughout. The room itself was beautiful and the perfect size for us.

A lovely secluded getaway, stunning views of estuary & countryside. Just far enough away from main road to be totally quiet and relaxing, but close enough to be connected. Photos on website do not do this gorgeous place justice. A really wonderful surprise to see how stunning it was.
Just across the road from the beach, Hotel Continental offers well-appointed rooms around 10 minutes’ walk from Whitstable’s characterful town centre.

Super location. Lovely friendly can do staff. Possibly the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in, this shows the mentality that management are able to convey from the top to all staff. Room balconies.

Fantastic location in Whitstable right on the front and in the town centre. Parking space if you do have a car and charge point if it's electric.

Great seaside town for lovers of fresh seafood, pubs, indie shops, stunning views of sea and coastal walks or cycling. Really close to Canterbury. Evening drinks and good watching sun set are a must/do - the Neptune pub full of character with amazing views.

Lovely little town with lots of independent shops and cafes.
Lovely little town with lots of independent shops and cafes. Harbour area was particularly pleasant although parking in this area was expensive. Plenty of town centre parking. We visited in April so the town was quite quiet but I imagine in the summer, it would be busy. Visited Whitstable Castle but not much to see or do there although the gardens were pretty.

We liked the wide choice of pubs and restaurants and cafes.
The local people helpful and friendly. We liked the art deco styling of The Peter Cushing pub and the drinks were the cheapest in Whitstable.
Interesting to read about the actor who used to live in one of the characterful houses on the seafront.

Whitstable is lovely although the hotel we stayed at isabove the Tankerton slopes that lead down to the beach at Tankerton. The beach is pebbles but clean. The town of whitstable is quaint with small independent shops. There is an excellent fish snd chip shop in the town Jones, although that is closing down soon. Plenty of lovely restaurants and coffee shops.
The location was perfect, right in the centre of Whistable. The view from our window/balcony of the beach was brilliant.
Our main reason for choosing his option rather than other locations was it parking space (a rare commodity in Whitstable!). The accommodation is room only, tea and coffee making facilities only but there is the option of having breakfast at The Continental Hotel (the owners of the properties) but there are many other options also nearby.
Comfy room with lots of treats, and great hosts.
A swim in the mornings in their lovely pool before an amazing breakfast.
The location at Tankerton meant a lovely long walk along the coast in to Herne Bay, a shorter walk into Whitstable, and a pub and a Hotel just a five minute walk both serving good food and local ales.
All this meant that we didn’t use our car throughout our 2 night stay.
The view from our room (balcony with sea view) was amazing. The location of the hotel is great too with a nice walk along the seafront into town. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and really helped to make our trip enjoyable. The hotel is dog friendly too which meant our puppy could come on holiday with us :) Very good breakfast - loads of choice!!
Staff were excellent, friendly but polite. Room was small but comfortable. Bed was excellent. Toilet, bath & shower facilities were good. Breakfast was very good. Hotel is in an excellent position less than a half mile from the town centre, but does not have adequate parking on-site, though there is a good overflow park a short distance away.
good location, the room was quite small but it was charming and had a lot of character to it, and the owner made really good use of the limited space, so i found that impressive. Wife and I were happy with the room but others who might be looking for spacious or modern / hotel like accommodation might not like it.
The Space at 8 is just a dream. Beautifully decorated, clean, a wonderful outdoor space, perfect location, on and on. Alex was very responsive to any questions. If I ever get to Whitstable again, I will stay at The Space at 8. Thanks for everything Alex!
The house is very cosy and cute, super clean, comfortable beds. The host is absolutely amazing, Sinead went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Location is perfect, 5 min from the beach. Whitstable is a cute little town with fantastic restaurants.
Aptly named “the Snug” is perfect for two and is in a wonderful location with good private parking. It is well-equipped and is close to a small selection of shops, the seafront and is a walkable distance, especially along the seafront, to Whitstable.
Excellent location with plenty of parking, stunning views over Whitstable Bay. Room was spotless & had all the facilities I needed.Evening meal & breakfast both superb quality. Exceptional service from arrival to departure by all at the hotel.
Excellent location, close to everything. Surprisingly quiet street being so close to the high street. Easy parking right near to the house. House was warm and welcoming. Book a restaurant if you are eating out though, tables go very fast
Was very clean and comfortable, good location. Would definitely stay again.
Staff in reception at the Hotel Continental were brilliant so helpful
Plus a parking permit was a BONUS. Exceptionally clean, nice bedding, 🥰 perfect!
Room extremely comfortable and exceptionally clean. Staff were helpful as always. The ;location is lovely. The greatest compliment I can pay a hotel is to stay there again and I have stayed at the Marine 3 times now.
The central location in Whitstable and parking space included.
The decor very clean and comfortable.
Hotel Continental location for checking in no problems staff very helpful.
2 nights stay at The Cabin.
A lovely gem in Whitstable. Cosy room with fantastic sea view. Great food, lovely bar area with comfy seating great views. Hotel staff very helpful. Will be back for sure!
