An exemplary B'n'B and excellent for our four-night stay while we were exploring East Cambridgeshire and West Norfolk. Glenda and Lee were warm and welcoming hosts. The room (en-suite) was roomy and very comfortable. The WiFi was strong and reliable. Breakfasts (chosen from a huge menu the night before) were wonderful, with great attention to the quality of the ingredients (mostly home-made) and their presentation. Binoculars were lent to us, eggs were bought and two small pots of home-made jam were given as a parting gift. 10/10. 5 *. Should we ever return to the area, we will certainly stay there again.

The hosts were so friendly, straight away they made us feel so welcomed. When we arrived they showed us to the tent and how to use the facilities which was very helpful. We got to feed the llamas in the evening which my sons thoroughly enjoyed and the host’s knowledge and love for them was incredible. We enjoyed a bbq for dinner (both gas and coal were provided) and bacon sandwiches for breakfast. Great selection of teas and coffee were also provided. We honestly couldn’t fault our stay, the tent was fun & clean, beds were comfortable and facilities were great. We’re looking to go back in the summer holidays! :)

I didn't stay in Wisbech too long as I was travelling...
I didn't stay in Wisbech too long as I was travelling through. But what I did see was a a town centre with lots of boarded up shops and on the outskirts a new out of town development with supermarkets, cinema, Costa Coffee, B & Q etc which is killing the town centre. All photo looks so great, that we decide to visit. We found free car parking next to church. Then we went to see area. When we went through little park next to church, we start worried. We pass group of young people drinking beer, then teenagers around 13-14 years smoking weed, then older people already drunk. And another group of drunk people. We run back to car as we start be scary of safety, and it wasn't pleasure to enjoy any view. I think town council really need to look into that as could be nice tourist spot.

The hotel in the advert was closed it was a complete con, the lovely Hotel showen in the photo was closed, we had to stay in some outbuildings near the advertise hotel, if i had knowen that this photo was false i would not have stayed there, in fact i am very reluctant to use Booking.com again.

Wisbeach during the day is lovely.
Wisbeach during the day is lovely. Plenty of shops and history and the river is lovely. Loads of free parking was great however the evenings felt very different and after the first night I didn't venture into the main part of town in the evening again. Gangs of men hanging around every cash machine and drinking in the parks and cemeteries. It felt very unsafe to walk through even though I wasn't alone.

It is a lovely small town with plenty of places to eat.
It is a lovely small town with plenty of places to eat. I just grabbed a coffee as was too full from breakfast. I am in a wheelchair and was pushing myself. Cosy and well equipped rooms, very good food, and the big thing for those travelling for work, early breakfast (from 7 o clock). Not the cheapest, but you do get what you pay for, and you can soon spend a tenner driving miles to a cheaper place, then being disappointed. I have enjoyed sitting in the garden when I return from work, feel safe in the street and house. The rooms were large with firm beds, ideal for me. Shops and banks a short walk across the park. I have stayed three times when working in Wisbech. One thing I always go for when working away is an on suite but chose Hereford because of its location. I would definitely go again and I am disabled. There wasn't a disabled room available when I booked but they were willing to help me as much as they could.
