Excellent accommodation in the city center. It is excellent for visiting the surrounding attractions. Everything is very clean. Baklon was spacious. I would especially like to praise the friendly and accommodating staff. The pictures correspond to the actual condition.

The apartment had everything a person could need - very thoughtful hosts. Also, the smell of the orange blossoms in the adjacent orange orchard was a lovely surprise. Very comfortable and modern.

Nice appartment very well equipped and luxurious in a very quiet place, but not easy to find. Excellent breakfast. Little problem: the owner doesn't speak English and hopefully her daughter was here to help us with the equipments.

Self contained Villa so no breakfast expected or provided. All the facilities to be able to prepare our own.
Argos is beautiful. We felt very safe as a family with young children walking around during the day and night. Very friendly people all willing to help. Beautiful center square with playground for kids, bumper cars, carousel and train. The historical sites were within walking distance of downtown. We ate at several restaurants and did not find bad food. Walking around Argos is very easy even with a stroller.

Argos is the perfect place for travelers who want to...
Argos is the perfect place for travelers who want to experience beautiful scenery and a famous ancient city. It has none of the commercial sheen of Nafplio, which is fine by me--but if you need parties and a beach, it's only a short 12km bus ride away. I'll take Argos any day--a few excellent restaurants, a square that buzzes with real life in the evening, and some great attractions, such as Larissa fortress and the ancient theatre.

Ideal base for archaeological sites.
Ideal base for archaeological sites. Town is very Greek ... i.e. comparatively few tourists. Squares, cafes and restaurants fill with local families in the evening - so a brilliant place to people watch. Lots of young kids charging around, lots of teenagers taking a walk in single-sex groups and the buzz of chatter from the older folk shooting the breeze in the cafes.
Throw yourself into their rhythm and it's very relaxing ... but be prepared to eat late. Sitting down for dinner at 11 p.m isn't unusual.
Drivers - the Argos one-way system turns the centre into a bit of a labyrinth ... you'll need patience.
The well known sites are easy to reach ... the best ones (the Larisa castello and the theatre) easy to miss.
Very nice experience. Cozy accomodation with all the necessary devices included. It is near to the center and it's terrace has amazing views to Argo's Castle. The owners were very kind, one of them speaks Greek (of course), English, Spanish and French. We even have flexibility to do the check in!!
Argos is a very cute place in the Peloponnese, between Micena and Nafplia so it is in a strategic place if you want to make a complete trip. It has also an amazing castle in the top of its mountain.
This was one of the most clean spaces I have ever stayed. Perfectly clean and absolutely comfortable. We enjoyed it a lot, every day our room was cleaned up, every day new clean towels. Just perfect.
The place was located almost in the enter of Argos, it was very easy to get a coffee or a drink nearby
The owners also helped us a lot with useful information about the area.
A big advantage of the place is a private parking, otherwise it would be quite hard to find a places to park the car
The property was beautiful. It is a family run business and a great deal with attention seem to be given to all gas including us. The owners went out of their way to help us on several occasions with arranging a guide, recommending restaurants and even lending us some money until we can get to the bank the next day. They really went above and beyond. I highly recommend this hotel.
The location is great and the apartment is a much higher standard than others in Argos, including the hotels. There is a lot to like here but you are also paying for it. There are cheaper options in Argos but not as nice as here. If you can afford it then pay the extra as I saw some of the other accommodation in Argos and wasn't particularly enamored.
This is a basic hostel type hotel that met our overnight needs due to its proximity to the ruins in the area. location is good. As this is a pedestrian area, we appreciated the use of a parking pass from the hotel which allowed us to park in any of the red or blue zones in the areas close to the hotel. linens and sheets were very clean and plush.
Although this is an old hotel / building, it is nicely kept and more than adequate. The personnel was extremely helpful and the location is great. Price was quite good, especially when considering that this was the high season. I would definitely stay there again as the hotel is tried and tested.
If you want to visit Argos or have a cheap base to explore the region, this is an affordable hotel. The location is right on a great local square with good restaurants around. The rooms are very basic, no frills kind of rooms. It is not really a hotel for families on holiday.
Argos is a quieter town and was a great central location for exploration of the North East Peloponnese. The house was very well appointed, quiet and convenient to a supermarket and the town square. Michael was a generous and caring host who looked after us well.
Great place to stay, but also, the host sent us a great list of places to eat, places to visit, and things to do in Argos and the surrounding area (including Nafplion). We had a great time during our 3 nights stay and felt we could have been spent longer here!
The location is perfect in the center of Argos and easy to find parking space. All facilities you may need are in the apartment. Friendly host, wo gave clear directions. Apartment is spacious, you could even stay with 4 people
We needed a place to stay for one night. The room was comfortable, clean and at a very reasonable price. Although the hotel doesn't serve breakfast, the coffee and cake in the morning was a pleasant surprise!
Good location, in the center of the town. The staff was nice. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
A great pro for those keen on history is that it is located in Argos.
