The nature and location are very beautiful there.
It is ideal for families with children. The water in the sea was transparent and virgin clean.
The food in the hotel restaurants is 5 stars!
Skafonas is surrounded by a lush garden with blooming flowers, almond, cherry and apricot trees, in the area between the traditional village Sinarades and the famous Pelekas village.

Had a lovely night here whilst walking the Corfu trail. Really good beds and a gorgeous view overlooking the sea. Nikos want super friendly and quick in his replies, we felt very well taken care of.
Also cool: they have grapevines practically on the beach! Wow! Never ever have we seen that before.

The atmosphere directly at the sea is really nice, enjoy your evening there. The staff is great, very friendly. All the flowers, great place, like a Juwel!

We decided to base ourselves in Pelekas because of its vicinity both to Corfu town and to the beaches. However, the way back from the beach to the village is very steep and not convenient for children and older people. The beautiful village could be a lot nicer if traffic would be banned, since the streets are very narrow.

Our room had clearly not been renovated for the past 30+years, with broken tiles everywhere badly patched with glue/silicon (arguably a health and safety hazard), a bed with more broken springs than those still working (we slept only a few hours, if any), a shower that at peak usage time would get lukewarm at best (we called reception and they sent through a handy man at around 7pm who said it is usual for them to run out of hot water when everyone at the hotel is having showers, but it would usually come back in the next 2/3 hours). Also, our room was next to the large outdoor aircon units which were incredibly loud and they were blowing air upwards/towards our balcony (major covid risk), hence why we couldn't even make use of the one positive aspect of the hotel.
Also, there was a general smell of sewage throughout the facility, including our bathroom, which became unbearable at "peak shower times".
The all-inclusive package (there was no à la carte restaurant, shut due to Covid, even though the description on Booking is clearly talking of a second à la carte restaurant) was absolutely below expectations. We stayed at other 5-star hotels in Corfu a couple of nights before and after (we only experienced one dinner and one breakfast as we ran away ASAP) and the food at both was just miles ahead. To provide one simple example, the cut-up fruit provided was all canned (in syrup) fruit, as opposed to freshly cut fruit (provided at both other 5-star hotels). Also, for drinks there was only water, fizzy drinks, house wine and house beer all from a self-service tap - for anything else from a menu, you would need to prepay the tab on your room, which could only be done at reception (which is something I had never heard of/experienced before for anything above 3-stars!), which was a 10 min walk up from the restaurant.

Pelekas is not, as such, the target of a trip but if you like family beach it is totally suitable for you ; if you like family naturism the beaches are very nice at Mirtitiossa (15 mn) or Issos (40 mn) ; if you like geographic tourism Pelekas is central !

If you go to Pelekas I really recommend to rent a boat on Ermones beach, you will have an unforgettable experience, People are warm and friendly. Go to Aqualand, a great water park but make sure to go there for a whole day. 3 hours will not be enough! Go spend some cool time at Villa Myrto!
If you come to this area without a car, you will be sorry. A car is a MUST have!!

Beautiful village.
Beautiful village. We prefer somewhere less touristy and Pelekas was perfect. I am sure corona virus may have effected how busy the village was but I don’t think the charm would be lost if it was busier. Lovely selection of tavernas to enjoy dinner and we enjoyed some beautiful Greek wine and cocktails at the small little bar next to the church in the centre. Great rooftop terrace not to be missed. I would recommend a car to reach the beaches. We walked back from the beach one day and once was enough in the heat! Top top, get your sun loungers at Spyros on the beach at Pelekas/Kontogialos beach and don’t miss the calamari Or grilled octopus on the menu for lunch!! Glyfada beach wasn’t a patch on Pelekas, give it a miss. Not to be missed is watching the sunset from Kaisers Throne!! Worth the walk up the hill, grab a beer on the way!!

It's good location as base for trip around Corfu island (not the north part of island, but i think that the central and south part of island is prettier), only 20 minutes by car to the Kerkyra, a lot of beaches on west coast.
We visited a lot of tavernas - for examples Staurodromi - very good meal, very kind staff.
Simply perfect!
Beautiful place to spend your vacation at.
Hospitality, generosity and kindness of the people who run this place is what I like the most.
Besides that, you will definitely enjoy in a perfect view to the sea from the balcony.
You can, literally, see the sea straight out of you bed!!!
Room was the cleanest that I have ever spent a vacation at!
Staying in Lidovois while visiting Corfu Island is what I’d advise to everybody who has ever been thinking about the trip to this incredible island!
Very spacious Villa with perfect view! Basement room has gym and a 85" TV. Everything new. Pool was cleaned daily. The byway to the villa seemed a little bit steep at first. But after few days it was fun to go uphill with a car. If we managed to do it in 9 seater Mercedes van, its no problem for any other car 😁. 10min on foot to beautiful village of Pelekas going further uphill. Generous welcoming basket from the hosts! Thank you very much, Hosts! 10/10! Had perfect vacation!
The owners of the place are very friendly, kind and accommodating. Definitely a highlight of the place.
The view is stunning - we enjoyed our meals with the most beautiful views of the bay and sea.
Last but not least - one of the best meals we had in Corfu. Definitely worth staying for dinner - tavernas on the beach cannot compare to the food served at Bella Vista. Good prices as well.
Lovely sandy beaches - one is approx 10 mins away, the other one 5 mins away.
We enjoyed our stay here, it was quiet and we had a nice terrace and everything we needed. Pelekas vilage is close, 25 min walk up hill. Beach is close, 5 min walk down hill. The only mini market is 1 min away. Nice view, sandy beach, no stones on it, no waves, perfect for small children. Any questions, the owner will guide you. His name is George, and by far was the best host we meet so far. I don't like to write reviews, but this man deserve it. Thank you!
We have travel with our baby 5 months and we had a lovely stay at this hotel.
We enjoyed a lot sunset on the restaurant while we were at dinner. 🌅
The beach is beautiful and we had very nice walks every morning. 💦🏝️
Food is great, and tasty. Wines and cocktails are great. Also we love the coke machine.🍹🥂☕️
We also had receive a free room upgrade and we were happy to have it.
We are planning to be back on this hotel 🏨 .
An exceptional family apartment that makes you feel like home! Maria, the host and her family are amazing people, very welcoming and helpful during the stay. I can't imagine anything missing from this apartment in terms of equipment or materials. Pelekas is a very picturesque village near Corfu Town and Glyfada beach. Would come back in the future. Highly recommended!
Amazing location, close to sand beach, room comfortable, amazing staff. This family hotel has own atmosphere, you can find there your own space, terrace, corner... what do you want.
Every day typical greek breakfast, possibility to have fresh "catch of the day" for lunch or dinner.
If you like movie "Mamma Mia" you must love this place. We love it :-)
Beautiful little hotel in Pelekas! The room was really comfortable with a perfect balcony. The breakfast was amazing. The hosts were really nice. In the last day, we left at 5 am to the airport and they left us a take away breakfast in the fridge of our room. They also organised us a rented car on the day in which we arrived. The location is also nice.
I had a great time staying at the villa. the views are breathtaking and the location very good for some of the most beautiful beaches, the golf course and Corfu Town. I enjoyed the small pool every morning, it was great and a real bonus.
I made good use of the kitchen, it was well equipped. I would for sure recommend this place.
Great value apartment with beautiful gardens. Close to some of the best beaches in Corfu and also great options for food within 5 minutes in the village of Pelekas.
The owners are very attentive and lovely people.
Highly recommended.
Great location in Pelekas , close to the village's restaurants and bars. 2nd floor room has a view of the sea from the balcony. Restaurant food is good! I would return to that hotel if I come back to visit Pelekas.
Amazing views of the bay and beautiful sunset. Walking distance to the beach. The bathroom was renovated, however, the rest of the apartment was a bit outdated but still functional.
Spotlessly clean, excellent location, quiet, nice view and good access to all of corfu by car. Zoi and her parents went totally the extra mile to help us with whatever we needed.
Manolo and Michaela are the best people for a trip to Corfu !!
The hotel has a very nice view and is very clean.
The breakfast is also very delicious
100% recommendation
Amazing view, good location with nice sand beach in walking distance, great food in the restaurant, very friendly hosts, basic but efficient room and mini kitchen.
