The property is perfectly located on the beach and close to lots of restaurants and bars and shops. The hotel is run by a husband and wife. Teo the husband went above and beyond to make our first experience in Greece wonderful. He was the kindest, loveliest, perfect host. Nothing was too much trouble. He took me to a medical centre when I was unwell and waited for me and brought me back to the hotel. He took us out when we were unable to get taxis. He took us on a tour of Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia on the way to the airport when we were leaving. He was so kind to us all.
Featuring a bar-restaurant with views over the Ionian Sea, Pantelis is only 50 metres from the pebbled beach of Poros in Kefalonia and within a short walk from taverns and bars.

The hosts Mike & Regina were superb. personally collecting us from the airport and giving us a comprehensive tour of Poros the surrounding area and all it has to offer. The apartment is conveniently located within walking distance to the beautiful beach, swimming pool, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, bakery and Poros port, from which one can explore other islands on organised boat trips. The apartment is clean and well equipped and the beds were extremely comfortable a novelty in Greece.
Oceanis Apartments is set in front of the port, nestling amongst the trees in the scenic village of Poros in Kefalonia. The village centre is 150 metres away.

Poros is a small but friendly village.
Poros is a small but friendly village. Plenty of choice for places to eat including gluten free options. Long pebble beach with beautifully clear water for snorkelling. Regular car and passenger ferries and options for trips to Ithaca and Zante from the small port area. Generally public transport (bus) is poor but car, motorbike, quad bike and bicycle hire is available. Lots of ATMs but no bank.

Poros beach is a pebble beach.
Poros beach is a pebble beach. Most sandy beaches can be found in the southern part of the island. But Poros was good for snorkeling. Close to restaurants and shopping. Conveniently a port for the ferry to the mainland can be found in this town.

I travelled late in the season (late September) so it was quiet but with most restaurants and cafes open. Hard to say how busy it would be in peak season as many apartments and some shops were closed up.
Some lovely restaurants on the beach and a few tourist shops plus good supermarket, fruit and fish shops. Interesting to watch the boats coming in/out if the harbour and if you're lucky you get to see dolphins!!

We liked the sea across the road and a short walk to eat out.
We didn't like that we were not given what we booked for the first five nights of our stay, the smallest apartment with one double bed. I had booked and paid for a large apartment with one double and one single bed. The property manager was rude, shouted at me and refused to refund the money.
The cleaners and maintenance staff are left to sort out problems. They were doing their best but it was hard to take as a single parent, I had worked hard to prepare for a holiday and it was met with these kinds of attitudes and treatment by the booking agency who can only refund 15%.
A holiday I booked 5 months before should have been free of this type of stress.
We didn't like being at the mercy of property managers or taxi drivers charging too much money.
Not enough fresh fruit and veg.
Chilling at Caminia beach, and a boat trip to Ithaca with Hermes boats to Ithaca were great. Thankfully I shielded my daughter from all of it.

A small, quiet town but perfect for someone wanting to leave the big town noise behind like I wanted. It is good to have a car so that one can make excursions to other parts of the island. Poros is well connected to other areas. There are numerous restaurants in Poros so one can decide to have self-catering or go out eating.

Great location with fantastic views. I love a family owned property, and this did not disappoint. Free shuttle from the center of Poros, clean pool and facilities, wonderful room with comfortable bed, great shower, lovely views from my patio, delicious breakfast with freshly cooked eggs and many options, great coffee and even Greek Mountain tea. The entire family was part of my experience and they were wonderful. I booked a room last minute, and it was a great value. I would absolutely come back again.
The location is perfect since you can just cross the road and you are at the beach. From our balcony we got to see the most beautiful sunrises. Our host Koula is the most AMAZING person. I can’t even describe how welcome and at home she made us feel. We certainly will miss her and because of her, we will definitely stay there again. Also, if you’re in Poros, must try eating at Steki grill (which is very nearby).
The hosts were incredibly nice and hospitable, they helped us with everything we needed. The apartment was exactly as described, with all facilities included and there was room cleaning every day. The apartments are very close to Poros Beach (about 2 minutes walk time) and there is also a bakery, pharmacy and two supermarkets right across the street. We had a great stay and I totally recommend this place!
I highly recommend this one!
Staff where super super helpful all along our stay in kefalonia! Especially Ms. Matina - thank you so much for helping us planning our stay & Mr. Takis for helping us with our luggage! The room and the rest of the hotel where very clean, ALWAYS. They also provided us with beach equipment, such as umbrella etc. They also gave us a local souvenir to take back home with us!
Everything was absolutely amazing, can not fault anything. The owner Efimia was so friendly, kind and helpful, she could not do enough for me. I was even treated to some home made Kefalonia pie one day and it was delicious.
She helped map out a route for me to take on the scooter to see the island. Honestly amazing.
Fantastic value for money, very clean. Exceptional!
Location is perfect for those seeking quiet, village like atmosphere as its on the verge of town. Stunning views across Poros and the sea. Short walk to the beach, perhaps not exactly suitable for very old or disabled as its through the bushy/pebbly downhill path. Car is almost a must here to be able to zip to town in the morning to get some fresh croissants etc
We had a really good stay at Kristi!! She is a helpfull and very good host. If you need anything, you can ask her. The room was clean and has airconditioning.
Also Poros is a very nice location with locals who know each other and are very friendly.
We would highly recommended you going here if you go on a trip across the Ionian Islands!
Great location just near poros port, very beautiful view on the sea and port with shades of blue.
Hosts were very kind and provided us with advices and assistance during all stay which was quite helpful
Rooms are cosy and nice, Cleaning was done every day properly so everything we expected was done and we enjoyed our stay
Loved the staff. The owner is very friendly and enjoys conversations and sharing stories. He upgraded our room and helped prepare our breakfast. The rooms were gigantic and it was more than we expected. This hotel is amazing and a must visit if you're nearby or hopping on/off the ferry. My highest recommendation.
What an awesome little hotel and its host!!
The room felt like i am home!! Everything so well thought through to make you comfortable!!
The owner was sooooo nice!! Even gave me national food mousaka she prepared!! Her mom and son are adorable too!!!
The best was balcony sea view!!
Perfect place to stay in Poros. Lovely family owned Hotel ! The best view! Amazing restaurant close by! Great breakfast!
I will definitely be back next year. I still dream to awake up with the view of the Hotel Oceanis!
The staff were helpful and charming. The Hotel is ideally located for the beach and for walking into Poros for dinner. The room was great with two balconies and great facilities.
phenomenal hotel! only wish they had an elevator for our suitcase but the amazing staff offered to help us carry them before we even asked them. I can’t thank them enough!
The property is on the beach front and the view is beautiful. It is located in a lovely spot and is very clean and tidy. This family run hotel is a magic gem.
