We had a very nice stay during the 2024 Easter celebrations at this beautiful bed & breakfast. The owner Mr. Vaios and his family welcomed us warmly and provided a great service beyond our expectations. We will definitely visit again.

Nice and spacious apartment, with balcony overlooking the lake and the pelicans flying around. The island is a quiet and pleasant place (with small friendly dogs hanging around). No noise here, just birds and frogs singing.
Located right next to Prespes Lakes, Villa Platythea is a traditionally built complex featuring spa and wellness facilities, an outdoor pool and a poolside snack bar.

The property was rustic but with character, and our host Vagelis went out of his way to be helpful. The breakfast was plentiful, lounges and beds comfortable. The location was also good, an easy stepping-off point for all activities on the Prespa Lakes. There were some very interesting sculptures around the property and bountiful birdlife.

A great village with a lot of history.
A great village with a lot of history. It is amazing that local people still speak the Slavic dialect and are very friendly to all travellers. It is on the southern tip of the Great Prespa Lake which is excellent for a boat tour of the lake, fresh fish. The hosts serve an amazing food and offer great facilities to relax. Walk around the village and you will be taken back 100 years in different times. If you travel to this corner of Greece/ Albania/ N Macedonia, I warmly recommend a stopover at the village of Psarades/ Nivitsi.
