If you want a special experience go to Skopolos. We arrived by ferry from Skiathos which is only 1 hour and 14 euros each. Visually the town is special from the sea and is very friendly and full of nice bars and restauraunts but is also very chilled. Prices are sensible.

Very wide choice of restaurants and bars, but not all open when we visted at end of September when everything was begining to shut down. There is no real beach in the town so transport is requred, local buses are good but services reduce in September. Lots of steep slopes and steps so not ideal for less mobile. The town has very much the feel of a place that has been taken over by tourism. Plenty of trips to visit parts of the island and other islands.

Lovely island with a lovely port with many shops and restaurants. Extremely safe and it has a lovely vibe about it. We took a Mamma Mia tour which was inexpensive and a great way to see some of the main sites around the island and visit some lively beaches. It is very mountainous and the roads are not for those afraid of heights. Skopelos town is definitely the best place to stay

We chose Skopelos Summer Homes last year for our summer vacations and since we had a wonderful time back then, we returned this year. The hotel is very conveniently located, too close to the port and the center.
The room was spacious, very clean and very quiet. The staff was very polite and eager to address any request. It is highly recommended for relaxing holidays to the greenest Greek island
Perfect location. Amazing views. Clean, nice decor and Nefeli Villa had its own, private pool. Even though it was small, our son, in particular loved having it. They also have a bigger pool with a bar and restaurant with good food and drinks. Very relaxing and a short walk to Skopelos town. The staff was very nice and helpful. No complaints! Definitely recommended!
The view was unparalleled- out over the Skopelos town and the sea. Day or night it was perfect! A little far for us to walk into town, but the 2 min drive was no trouble.
Very comfortable bed and furnishings, and the pool was delightful. Good AC even during the big heat wave.
Katerina was very attentive and helped us quickly when we needed assistance.
The house is incredible! It is decorated with exceptional taste and it is a little oasis close to Stafylos beach. The private patio is beautiful, quiet, and with great view! We also wanted to be close to Skopelos town and by car it was just a few minutes away. Ourania is also extremely kind and helpful. We’re definitely going back to Villa John’s!
Mimi and Theo were the perfect hosts and Christine's House is an idyllic hideaway. We would love to return one day! The views from the property are spectacular and the pool is very welcome when we visited end of June. Really nice touch that they come and do a general clean everyday. It feels like a very private hotel.
The restaurant at Skopelos Holidays Hotel & Spa is a culinary gem. With a diverse menu and delicious dishes, it's a food lover's paradise. But what truly impressed me was the spectacular view from my room. Overlooking the picturesque surroundings, it was a treat for the eyes.
Good location, just a few hundred metres from Skopelos town. The hotel was nice, good sized room, fairly good selection of food for breakfast. Staff all friendly. The pool area was good and great views from the pool looking over at the port and the town.
A fabulous Villa with amazing views and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Host had great recommendations for things to do in the area. The pool was gorgeous and perfect temperature. Breakfast on the patio overlooking Skopelos Town.
Quiet and clean hotel and good air con in the bedroom. Staff very friendly and willing to accomodate my additional requests. Excellent location right next to a supermarket, great coffee shop for breakfast and a short walk to the ferry.
Great location right near Skopelos town. Really easy to get to everywhere you need to go! The property was overall nice. Very close to the bus to take you to other parts of the island!
