Location is great, just in front of a very calm and beautiful beach. We went also to the closer beaches around and they are also very nice with very clean water. Stuff were super kind, they helped us a lot with every single thing we needed. Food was very fresh, big portions and good prices.

The villa was amazing and the outdoor kitchen and living space were a total surprise and perfect for us. Lydia was incredibly helpful and attentive and gave us lots of recommendations that we acted on for places to eat and things to do. We had an octogenarian and a 17 year old in our party and the villa - and holiday as a whole - suited their needs and all of us in between. A wonderful stay!

The views were spectacular. The apartment was very well maintained and spotless. The pool was fantastic! It's a "sweetwater pool" or mineral pool, so there's no chlorine smell and it's so gentle on the skin. I have very sensitive skin so for me this was wonderful!
The village of Stavros is a 20 minute walk from the apartments, and I was so kindly offered a lift from the owner to the market. When I finished my shopping the shop owner's son gave me a lift back. It really was a wonderful place!

We loved the beauty and nature in Stavros. There were 2 small well stocked supermarkets and 5 restaurants. The beach was beautiful and of course the Mountain which always captured your gaze- a very scenic place away from the hustle and bustle of the bigger towns. The Paradice Hotel luxury suites were first class and by far the best place to stay and as if that’s not enough, they have a massive deluxe extension and another huge pool opening in March 2024.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good, we didn’t find anywhere else that matched the quality and prices; amazing value! The environment of the resort was lovely from the gardens to the pool area to the area by the sea with pontoon. Could have been even better if the room had coffee/tea facilities.

For us the hotel was perfect, away from the beach with an easy walk. The bars and restaurants were plentiful and the food of a great quality. Stavros is a great location for adventuring, Chania is near, the old town is a treat, monasteries and the botanical gardens were visited as well as some of the other beaches in the area. The size of the apartment is good and the terrace downstairs is nice too. The reception was flexible and we could arrange to have a late checkout, pay a fee, and also transfer to the airport for a reasonable price. The whole family is lovely, they are the best hosts at Stavros! :) Fruits and vegetables from the garden, raki, homemade chocolate made our stay more comfortable by them. We had everything for a great summer trip. The apartment is well-equiped, very clean and comfortable. We travelled with 2 children, they were comfy, too. The beach and small shops, restaurants are near. If you rent a car, you can trip a lot nearby. We recommend it, and hope that we can return!

In hindsight though, it would’ve been good to have Kavos as a home base in Crete. The staff is super friendly. The food is delicious.
