The staff was polite. The room was nice with a bit of vintage style. It has seemingly old air conditioning that works well but is a bit noisy.

Guatemala is a very friendly country, filled with incredible Mayan ruins, exotic birdlife, and stunning volcanoes. We spent time in Flores, Tikal, Antigua, Xela and Lake Atitlan. We also spent several days hiking, including volcano treks and staying with families in homestays, properly experiencing the local communities. Our hike up Acatenango and a night spent watching Volcan de Fuego erupt was one of the most incredible experiences of my life.
We were nervous about the reports of crime but we felt safe the whole time albeit we remained cautious and alert. We travelled on the local buses, and people were always helpful getting us off at the right stop and on to the next correct bus.

Guatemala is just a unique and diverse country, filled with new experiences waiting for you. Unless you take the time to get to know some Guatemalans, it won’t be a complete stay. From Atitlan lake to colonial Antigua, to the coast and up into the Mayan ruins of Tikal, you won’t find a more interesting and friendly country on earth! Traffic is tough in the capital and a bit curvy in the high mountains. Food is always fresh and delicious with beans, rice, corn and fresh fruit always. Check out Santo Domingo in Antigua for the nicest colonial ambience and wedding destination from around the world.

Antigua is a must see when you're in Guatemala.
Antigua is a must see when you're in Guatemala. It's just an hour away, and it is best if you go for a tour guide as they give you a very complete feel of the Guatemalan culture that is mixed of Mayan and Spanish culture
Great stay! I had to spend a night in Guatemala City before my flight and Novohostel was perfect! Lovely staff, good breakfast provided. Located in a gated street so I felt very safe. I was also allowed to order food to my room, with help of staff which was great as I was very tired! Thankyou :)
Also, I would recommend getting an uber to and from the airport if you can as it is much cheaper than the white taxis (I paid 100GTQ for Uber vs 700GTQ for taxi outside airport)
We had a large, comfortable room with a king size bed and sleeper sofa which was perfect for the 3 of us. The safe and refrigerator were great additions to the room. The hotel was lovely, very clean and in a great area of the city. We walked around the neighborhood at night and felt very safe. It was a short taxi ride away from different malls and restaurants. Nice pool on the third floor with cute outdoor bar.
Extremely close to the airport, perfect if arriving to Guatemala City or about to leave. They also offer shuttle service for the airport, making it super convenient to reach.
The breakfast is really good, with eggs, pancakes, coffee, juice, fresh fruit.
The best part of the stay were the hosts. They are incredibly kind and friendly, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home!!
It is such a nice hotel! with the garden and all the plants you don’t feel as you are in a big city. is a little oasis. the staff was amazing so helpful. Breakfast in the rooftop is just amazing. location is great, 10 minute ride to airport, safe location and close to restaurants and bars. also there is a huge mall (Oakland) 5 minute walk. The room was super nice and comfortable.
All the rooms are nice sized apartments with a nice kitchen area. Location is perfect, next to the best dining, shopping and bar area in Guat city. Beautiful hard wood floors and furnishings. Staff polite and helpful. I speak Spanish but i think they all spoke English. There is a balcony in the bedroom and dining area. There is a nice restaurant and the hotel is very quiet.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Good Hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room had everything we needed, was clean, filtered water waiting and an amazingly comfortable bed. The little terrace was also a huge bonus to make up to and see the sunrise over the City. Breakfast was exceptional as was the coffee.
Only wish we could have stayed another night.
Everything! I had an injured leg, causing me to use crutches. The staff was so wonderful and accommodating. My first morning at breakfast, someone quickly rushed over to hold my plate and to help me at the buffet.
The room was impeccable- beautiful and clean with stunning views, and overall, the hotel is in a lovely part of the city.
Simply the best hostel in Guatemala City. Safe area with many restaurants and supermarkets around, walking distance to Zona 1.
They have everything you possible can need: hot showers, great kitchen, big and tasty breakfast (pancakes and cereal, no eggs), wifi, fridge full of beer, comfortable and private beds in a dorm (aka capsule).
The bed is heavenly. It is on the firm side which is what I prefer. The breakfast is very good and the service staff at breakfast is above all expectations. This is not the least expensive upscale hotel in Guatemala City, but I stay here every visit because they go out of their way to give you an amazing hotel experience
Great place to stay if you’re passing through Guatemala City and need to get to the airport. We had a wonderful stay here, and the breakfast was good. The staff were also very helpful and spoke English. We have stayed twice now and would definitely go back.
- Close to the airport
- Clean and spacious bedroom
- They arranged shuttle service for us from Guatemala city to Panajachel
- Multiple days after check-out, we could also leave our baggage when flying to Flores (Tikal) for a short period
This property was located in a gated community just 0.5 mile from the airport. It was a great location for the night prior to flying out of Guatemala City. The host was friendly and accommodating (he even gave me a ride to the airport).
Seemed like a fairly new hotel. Rooms were decorated in a modern way. Very comfortable beds. Breakfast has a good spread of options, both Guatemalan and continental. For a short stay in Guatemala City would defintely recommend.
It was our first stay at this very comfortable, cosy hotel in a good location with super-friendly staff. We liked it so much that we directly booked our next stay at the Inmaculada for our return trip to Guatemala City.
I just stayed there for a night when transiting through Guatemala City and both, the pickup from and the drop off to the airport worked perfectly, although I arrived almost at midnight and left at 6 a.m.
I like that the location was close to the city center and walkable distance to the attractions. The staffs were nice and the place was clean and comfortable. Our room had all the basics of a hotel.
This is a very good hotel that is located in a great area but away from much of the noise and bustle of the city. The staff was nice and helpful. The room was basic but a good value for the cost.
Stayed for 2 nights on the nights we flew in and out of guatemala city. Both nights the rooms were clean, the staff was really friendly and helpful. For the price, it was perfect.
This is a great small hotel near the airport in Guatemala City. Easy to find and very clean. Check-in process was easy. I have stayed there several times. They include breakfast.
