Hotel Eden is beautiful; contemporary, clean, well laid out, wonderful chilled vibes. On sea front but beaches are shingle and hardcore. Great breakfast for all nationalities' tastes. Two pools; one outside and a small indoor pool and sauna area. Staff could not be more polite and helpful. The restaurant food in the evening was A1 and relaxing setting to watch sun go down. We had a fabulous holiday there. Great if you do not want to be in city centre, with higher room rates.. Split was beautiful and interesting; great city to explore, as was Marjan Hill area just out of town; the local nature park. We went most days!

Central to places of interest.
Had a room overlooking town and harbour. Bedroom and bathroom very spacious. Modern decoration. Staff very helpful . Would highly recommend
Very nice town at a great location, overlooking the sea.
Very nice town at a great location, overlooking the sea. The fortress is a must see (entrance fee is 60 kn for adults, also valid for Stella Croatica etno agropark). Driving might be adventurous on some roads on the mountain. There are not many shops only one or two little markets, some restaurants and cafés maybe right at the fortress but Split is 15-20 mins with Kaufland, Konzum, Plodine etc.

Being in the heart of local life and not in a high tourist...
Being in the heart of local life and not in a high tourist area was great for us. Stunning scenery and only a short car journey to amenities. The fortress is definitely worth visiting. Had a lovely meal and evening in the restaurant called Perlica.

A village in the hills.
A village in the hills. Close enough to Split to easily get in/out if you have a car but far enough away to be outside the city pace. It has a couple of restaurants and bars and is a fort that it nice itself but more interesting for its role in Game of Thrones.
