The staff were so friendly and helpful. They were all great! The hotel was spotless! The breakfast was delicious. There was a very relaxed atmosphere in the hotel. It was in a perfect spot. 15 mins one way to Dubrovnik and 15 the other way to Cavtat. And the bus stop was right outside. The beach is about 3 mins walk and there a a couple of lovely walking trails nearby.

Beautiful view, nice room and perfect to stay for a night between Dubrovnik and Cavtat. We loved the little bay, and the walk up there. And… the most calm and lovely host I ever met.

Mlini and Dubrovnik surprised us with not such good service, angry people in the supermarket, and unreasonably high prices. The nature and the views are amazing, but better be prepared and do good research and planning before going there to avoid surprises and disappointments.

The Hotel was situated in a small little alcove, a few restaurants, all connected to the hotel so easy to settle bills, it had a harbour which was served by two different boat company's, So it was very easy to get a boat to Cavat or Dubrovnik, both a must if staying here, just make sure the city doesn't have too many cruise ships docked or the city can be overrun. You could also get the three Island cruise ship from the harbour, which went everydayThe boats are very frequent, and at 15 euro return, a fair price to pay.

We had the opportunity to visit several beaches: Mlini, Srebreno and Kupari. The beaches are clean, equipped, the water is warm, there are a lot of people, of course, but this was absolutely not a problem for our family.
I must admit I was a bit surprised by the absence of local markets where one could purchase fresh vegetables, fruits, or locally caught fish in Croatia (Croatia, beautiful country where's all the fish catched from that beautiful sea of yours? :) ). There is a supermarket called 'Konzum' with a broad selection, but the fish variety is very limited. On a positive note, I'd recommend visiting the restaurant called 'Oleander', where you can experience exceptional service, delectable dishes, and fantastic live music. However, right next door, there's the "Basilico" restaurant, where we encountered rather impolite behavior from the waitstaff.

Mlini is convenient for visiting Dubrovnik as you can get ferries or buses into town. It is in a pretty bay and has a few nice restaurants. Bistro Lorenco in particular was excellent. The commercial centre is useful for picking up beach things etc and food
Very nice welcome, we immediatly felt like at home.
Nice apartement and terrace with beautiful view overt the small port of Mlini and his clear water (for Breakfast and aperitiv, playing Backgammon ...).
Boats to/from Cavtat and Dubrovnik just in front of the House.
The best beach is the closer one (Astarea Beach, 3' by feet, with umbrellas and sunbeds).
The best restaurant is the closer one (Konoba Lanterna, 20 meters from the room).
Which means that a car isn't needed for a week stay in Villa New York.
Great place to stay just 8 mins from Srebreno and Mlinj beach. The host Jure was super friendly and very helpful with all our requests. There are many restaurants and supermarkets near by. Mlini Bus stop is also just around mins by walk. The view from the balcony is simply amazing. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice play to stay outside Dubrovnik. If you do not have a car, the walk up and down the hill could be a tiring workout but uber is easily available for pick up and drop.
We didnt sleep at the hotel because at the last minute we were informed that our room had mistakingly been rented out. However, the hosts still made sure we had a very pleasant stay, which we most certainly did. The guest met us on arrival and personally checked us in a nice apartment downtown. Then she came to pick us up the next morrning and drove us to the hotel, where we were allowed to spend the whole day by the pool. Really nice spot to relax close to nice beaches on the Dubrovnick Riviera
Wonderful stay - the owners were extremely kind, made us feel very welcome and helped with everything we could have asked for.
Location was perfect for us, the view from the villa was something we'd only expect in a 5 star hotel! Room was nice, lots of places to hang around in the lovely garden and breakfast was also very good. Their homemade cake was amazing as well!
Also perfect if you like cats, as their sweet Iggy-cat liked to lounge on our balcony a lot!
Wholeheartedly recommend.
We visited Dubrovnik for a work event and wanted to stay in an apartment rather than a hotel. This was the best choice we made. The village where the apartment is based was so easy to get uber's from, to the airport, into old town and to the hotel where our conference was. Super comfy, easy communication with the hosts and they even gave us extra duvet's because it was a bit chilly.
Would highly recommend and look forward to returning.
"Subrenum apartment in Mlini, Croatia offers a delightful stay with its well-equipped amenities and stunning sea views. The apartment is tastefully furnished, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. The surroundings are beautiful, creating a serene atmosphere. Patricia, the owner, is exceptionally kind and helpful, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. Overall, a fantastic choice for a relaxing vacation in Croatia."
Excellent in every aspect. This hotel was the most relaxing place, spotlessly clean, stylish, comfortable …. I could go on and on. The best hotel on the bay, and that, for us includes the five star Sheraton around the bay in Stebreno …. The Hotel Mlini is in a much nicer situation and had such a relaxing and classy feel. We are going back for sure, we had just the best holiday here, we loved it.
The view of the sea is simply amazing. We had breakfast every day on the terrace. The apartment is clean, well equipped, the owner is friendly and hospitable! Dubrovnik is only few minutes by car.
Access to the beaches is a bit tricky, but the purity of the water makes up for everything. Restaurants nearby, a pleasant walk away and we ate extremely tasty food.
The location is great! We loved that it is situated at a quiet area in the center of Mlini. The beach is a minute away and boat service to Dubrovnik is nearby. Lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from and there is a mall about 15 mins away. Federika and Derek are very warm and welcoming. They answered all our questions and ensured we had a pleasant stay.
This beautiful, large, clean, 3 bedroom - 3 bathroom apartment with parking was a lucky find. Enjoy your morning coffee and meals on one of the several balconies or terraces of this ocean view property. It is located 12 minutes by car, or a short bus ride included with the Dubrovnik card, from the crowds of the old city. The host is wonderful!!
Breakfast fully fulfil my expectations. Extremely beautiful seaside, much better than the Dubrovnik centre.
Breakfast, wi-fi, hotel staff were perfect comparing ith other 5* accommodation around the word. In my opinion, it was a very good stay.
Let me say again, the staff was perfect every time in other situations, friendly and independent.
Staff went above and beyond to quell my concerns when I had to leave my cruise from the Norwegian Viva, and spend the night at the hotel before flying back to the states. Marko and Ruth went worked with my until the confusing and incorrect information the ship had given me about my passport status was straightened out.
Great place managed by a lovely family! The rooms are big and sunny facing the opposite side of the main road. Very clean and comfortable beds. Our hosts were very understanding when we needed to change our stay. Dubrovnik is only 15minutes away with the bus station in front of the property. Definitely recommend!
High quality accommodation. Spacious, extremely well equipped. Really good quality comfortable beds, triple glazing for a very peaceful nights sleep. Great location with access to the Sheratons facilities. Spa and pool access was great value for money. Helpful friendly staff at the hotel.
Hotel is very convenient to all facilities. It was very clean. Staff were helpful and the cleaners were very helpful. Hotel transfer was very smooth. Been to Mlini before and loved it although have not been to hotel. We hope to come again next year.
Wonderful place, offers many apartments yet the hotel area wasn't overcrowded at all. Beautiful sea view, two beaches nearby with surprisingly warm water, plus amazing pool area. There's much more - the hotel area is like a small village
I absolutely loved my stay at the villa gala. Anna and her parents are very sweet and helpful in every ways they can. Super convenient location, close to beaches, bakeries, and easy commute to Dubrovnik.
Professionally managed hotel, modern style, cosy apartments, fantastic wooden pizza, healthy choice of breakfasts and truly delicious coffee in the bar
