This property was a delight for nature lovers! It offered a welcome escape from the tourist crowds, providing a peaceful and authentic Balinese experience. The highlight for me was the abundance of birdlife in the garden. I spotted a variety of colorful birds throughout the day, and even Bali Mynas flitting around.
I highly recommend booking a birdwatching tour with Putu, the host. Putu's knowledge of the local birds is impressive, and the tour was a fantastic way to explore the surrounding farms, mangroves, and beaches. Putu's guidance helped me spot a wider variety of birds than I could have on my own.
Overall, this property is perfect for those seeking a tranquil stay surrounded by nature.

Staff is super friendly and helpfull. The owner really makes a difference in the community with his hotels and stores, so staying indirectly helps. The pool is nice and the room and bed were very comfortable.

It was an absolutely amazing stay at Nusa Bay, the staff professional, the rooms a dream, and the setting so beautiful. You are in the national park, it’s so quiet and peaceful, and the sea is incredible. You can do snorkelling and canoeing for free and the views while snorkelling are amazing.
We paid for a diving session and that was absolutely incredible too, the instructor very good. Overall, our stay was incredible and we’d recommend this to anyone.

Amazing place in the nature, surrounded with monkeys and dears, chilling just in front of the vila on the beach.

Well the main attraction off Banyuwedang is the people really , such genuine friendliness is rare in the world . I liked diving at menjangan island and permuteran . The west Bali natural park is worth to see but a bit pricey at 1400K hiking with guide . The highlight was the trip to the Ijen Vulcano ( ferry to java ) . Don't expect good eating opportunities as this place is really not touristic . Best eating was at white sandy beach hotel . Hotspring was also very nice . Give the place a week of your time not more .

Place is peaceful and less tourists and foods and drinks are not too expensive as other places. It had its charm of its own. If you like nature this is a must place to visit. Take time thou because long hours to reach from Denpasar Airport but its worth it.
Unbelievably special hotel with the kindest host! I’ve stayed in some pretty luxurious and fancy hotels in my life (Ritz Carlton, The Edition) and I can honestly say that this place beats them all. The view from the villas and pool is breathtaking. The attention to detail is impressive. And I really can’t overstate how kind and helpful the host (Made) and his family are. This part of Bali is also so much more authentic and less touristy than the hot spots down south. You will not regret booking here. We are already planning our trip back.
Putu is an excellent and reliable host and manages the Homestay, which is like living on a Bali farm. You get water for free and you can use a washing machine. We were snorkeling with his friend Made and did a mangrove tour with Putu. Both tours were very professional with these friendly guides.
We enjoyed our stay at taman menjangan very much and would recommend it to people who don’t need luxurious hotels and yet appreciate clean and homestays and like to experience the more rural way of life.
The location is amazing, what a hidden gem. But the hotel is lacking a lot at their price point. The room was nice and the bed was comfy. Breakfast options are very limited but the bread is very nice. Staff really tried to do their best but someone should step up to improve the experience. We send on a diving trip, that was wel organized but that was offered by a company with a partnership with the hotel. (there were also people from outside the hotel on our boat)
Ida, the host, made us feel so at home. she looked after us and took such good care of us. the bed was comfortable and the villa was spacious- very luxurious! ida organized our snorkel trip and cooked us several delicious homemade Balinese meals (including vegetarian options, which I really appreciated!) We had a great time here and would love to stay again.
I came into the room until late at night. I confirmed to the hotel that it would be late, but until I came to check in, no one opened the door. I called many times no one picked up. about 30 minutes of waiting, finally they’re opened the door.
but that's okay, because the staff is friendly, the facilities are complete, that's enough.
We love the location inside the West Bali Nat Park, with opportunities to spot wildlife, plenty of soft trekking, snorkel and diving, and good food from the restaurant. Also love the observation deck of Bali Tower and Bird Watching tower. The staffs were ultra helpfull.
The room with the hot spring was really nice, even if you had to wait a bit to get into it, because it is really hot. In our room, we felt very comfortable. The hotel complex is large and offers two pools and hot springs so that the hotel guests can spread out.
Amazing place in the nature, surrounded with monkeys and dears, chilling just in front of the vila on the beach.
Food was delicious, stuff was so profesional, caring and kind. It truly is the quite gem of Bali. We will definitely come back!
Had this been my first accommodation in Bali, I’d probably given it a 9/10. While all the staff was nice and willing, it felt like there was some basic training and management missing. For the off season price it was more than okay though.
Its a nice piece of Paradise hidden in Menjangan village. Yuda made the best to make our stay very enjoyable and organised our local tours, from diving to sightseeing elsewhere in Bali and Ijen vollcano. Great breakfast too!
Wonderful place to stay on Bali.
the owner was the most courteous and friendly one on the whole trip through Indonesia. the houses and the whole complex are very nice and clean. always my pleasure!
honestly . Best value for money in Bali. Incredibly beautiful hotel. quiet 10/10. the rooms 10/10. the restaurant 10/10. the friendliness of the employees. the top
Ketut and the whole team of staff went above and beyond for me. Very friendly people, whom I will definitely look back to, should I visit this side of Bali again.
