Location was perfect as was located in quiet area

This 18th-century castle has a quiet location, looking out over huge grounds and beautiful countryside. It is now a 4-star hotel, mixing original character with modern luxury and free parking.

The grounds and courtyard room were immaculate, staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming. We originally booked a dinner in the restaurant but decided the bar menu suited our appetite better on that particular evening. The bar food was of restaurant quality and a good size portion. The overall atmosphere in the hotel was very relaxing and quiet. We will definitely be staying again and would recommend it to anyone considering a stay.
