Our room was on the top floor up a few flights of stairs which had been very recently carpeted. Overlooking the road outside, the room was clean and spacious with a large bathroom, though the windows are very low to the ground so closing the blinds to get changed was essential! The bed was comfortable and we got a good nights' sleep despite a bit of noise at kicking out time from the bar across the road.
The location is in the heart of Clifden, right in the middle of the town and so some traffic noise is to be expected, but overnight the road seemed very quiet.
The pub below was very nice and had a decent outside terrace at the back overlooking the estuary. Breakfast was excellent.
Whilst not a cheap option, the location was great if wanting to stay in the heart of Clifden.
Sharamore House B&B is just 5 minutes’ drive from Clifden restaurants and bars, and 10 minutes from Connemara National Park, Omey Island, and Kylemore Abbey, where guests enjoy discounted entry...
Very small location, but very picturesque. Ideally located to explore the surrounding area, including Clifden and Connemara National Park. Due to size of location only a small amount of local amenities but still very good quality.

The beauty and wilderness of Connemara is unsurpassed in all of our travels. Really allowed us to discover what Connaught had to offer. Was not lacking in any way, from coast to lowland and to mountains. Will never be forgotten!!

Lovely town by the sea.
Lovely town by the sea. Beaches nearby and ferry options to Inishbofin. A few pubs to choose from and Oliver's a nice restaurant with seafood and other options. Food was lovely and staff were great. There is also a grocery shop beside it. Close to other attractions like Kylemore Abbey and Killary Fjord. Beautiful landscapes all around.

Cleggan is a nice fishing village but there is not a lot to do there, due to Covid I think one of the bars is not open and another is only open during the day we traveled into Clifden for better choice of restaurants

Very scenic and quaint.
Very scenic and quaint. Good access to other areas of interest around connemara. Great for getting to inis bofin. Bus service to galway and clifden.very friendly people. Lovely seafood. Best Guinness ever in olivers seafood restaurant.
This beautiful apartment is right by the water, so quiet and comfortable. We loved staying there and will most certainly return. The apartment was very sparkling clean, very well thought out for guests and has everything you could want for a short or a long stay.
It’s also right in the middle of Cleggan Village, with wonderful pubs and food. We particularly loved Newman‘s Bar and Oliver‘s seafood bar. .
If this apartment is available, I recommend that you book it! We certainly will do so again.
My room was warm, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The en-suite was clean with a good shower. Breakfast was great - lots of food and the Irish breakfast was perfectly cooked. Dinner in the pub was delicious. I had the fish pie. Everybody who works at Oliver's is warm and friendly and provides great service.
Oliver's is not a four star hotel but it is extremely good value for money. I would be delighted to stay there again.
We had quite a few full Irish breakfasts while in Ireland, but the one at Cnoc Breac was hands down the best! Our host was friendly and welcoming, our room was roomier than most of other places we stayed, and the location was close enough to walk into town for dinner or to a nearby beach. Everything about our stay here was wonderful and we'd definitely stay here again if we make another trip to Ireland.
The place is ideally situated in Cleggan, a few minutes away from the port, where you can take the ferry to innishbofin and next to the beach. Eileen was an amazing host, always making sure we were comfortable. She prepared a delicious breakfast for us every morning and the house was very comfortable and clean, with an amazing view on the sea. Would definitely come back!
Breakfast was lovely - delish salmon & eggs! Location ideal, as I was looking to get the ferry to Inishbofin the next morning. Staff was so helpful, warm and welcoming - had dinner the night I got in...just wonderful. I've eaten at Oliver's during earlier visits to Ireland, but not stayed B&B before - would highly recommend, and will do so again myself.
Perfect B&B in Cleggan, feeling a bit at the end of the world in this small village. Our host was extremely nice and welcoming, the room was small but very cozy and comfortable (the bathroom was a bit small), the breakfast very good and with lots of choices. The location is really nice and quiet. We had a lovely stay.
Wonderful location with a private path to the beach, we went for a swim before breakfast! A short walk via the beach and quiet roads takes you to Cleggan village and harbour. Accommodation was excellent with shower/ toilet ensuite and a window looking onto the garden. Breakfast was delicious.
We loved the view from the bedroom window of Cleggan Harbour and the island. The double adjoining room was spacious and lovely. The breakfast was excellent and the host was so lovely. We could have stayed for much longer. Thank you so much
Eileen might be the kindest person we met in Ireland. She was very flexible, friendly and super helpful all the time. The location is in a beautiful area by the sea super close to principal attractions in the area. We would repeat for sure
The house was very nice indeed from all points of view. Beds exceptionally comfortable. Owner went out of her to help us with a problem (not connected to the property). Village of Cleggan ver attractive and Clifden a lovely little town.
View and proximity to Cleggan & Inisbofin, Diamond Hill, Ballyconneely and Clifden. You can walk to Cleggan. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and friendly. We felt very welcome. The apt was warm and comfortable with large shower.
Absolutely beautiful farm setting in rural Ireland. Warm and cozy home, clean and quiet. Picturesque setting. Lots of sheep and horses. Definitely worth the drive. Great place for a day trip to Kylemore Abbey.
The location of the cottages is beautiful, quite remote but just a short cycle/ drive from Cleggan. Staying on a farm was great for the kids - feeding the horses on the walk to the beach, just being away from it all.
Perfect place to sleep and have a place to relax near the fjords of the ocean, great location and great staff, awesome breakfast at a really good price, good food.
