Killashee Hotel, hotel in Dún Luáin

A haven of peace and tranquillity in County Kildare, just 30 minutes from Dublin’s vibrant city centre, this luxurious hotel and spa stands within acres of beautifully landscaped, private grounds.

It’s my 3rd stay at Kilashee. It’s comfortable. Staff are lovely and very helpful, and it’s convenient for proximity to Kildare outlet center, and the Japanese Gardens.

The village is small and quiet.

The village is small and quiet. Two bars when we visited but soon to be just one. One shop, which has everything you need including a deli. There's a couple of take away places but no where to dine in, so be aware of that. It's not far to Kilcullen, which appears to be a larger place so eating there may be an option, providing you drive.
