Austin was a very gracious and most helpful host. He welcomed us and showed us around our lodging even though our plane was delayed so we arrrived later than expected. He had prepared the room for a chilly night very thoughtfully. The bed and the room were comfortable and cosy; the bathroom spacious and the shower good and easy to use. He brought us a warm, fresh-baked scones in the morning with butter, jam, good strong coffee and tea and a friendly good morning - a wonderful start to the day. All in all a perfect spot to stop the night, feel warm and welcomed and ready to explore.

Silken Thomas is a lovely place to stay for a short visit to Kildare. It is in a great location and near to Kildare Village, Japanese Gardens and The Curragh Racing Course. I would be happy to stay there again but on arrival I would check for a bath plug and no dangerous chairs.

We loved Kildare and would recommend, unfortunately it was rather wet so restricted our walking but still enjoyed. The pubs were fabulous, very friendly people, wished it was our last port of call in Ireland instead of the first as there is a huge designer outlet complex and no room to carry all the purchases I would have liked to indulge in 🤪

Lovely town, right next to Kildare outlet. There’s not a lot of bars and restaurants but it’s cosy and perfect for a quite night away. We stayed in the silken Thomas and ate and drank in their adjoining restaurant the food was lovely cocktails were ok. Would definitely stay again
This is a hidden gem in Kildare! from start to finish I would give it 100%! it’s clean, comfortable, the food is amazing and great value, the breakfast is the best we have had in any hotel, the staff are incredible, so welcoming and friendly! i cant recommend highly enough, great location for Kildare shopping village, just a 10 min walk!
Property was beautiful, clean and had all the conveniences you would expect of a boutique hotel. Stunning view of St Bridget’s cathedral from our bedroom window. Our room was very cozy and the bed was so comfortable! Everyone who worked there was unbelievably helpful and accommodating. Isobel went above and beyond to make us comfortable.
The bed, duvet and pillows were unreal! So comfortable!
Lovely bathroom also!
Honestly didn't know what to expect as we arrived to a pub. The rooms are in separate apartments behind the pub so this is not a hotel but a gorgeous room to stay in. Ideal if you are all shopped out after kildare Village. Would absolutely stay again.
Cosy, comfortable, cottage. One bedroom & bathroom upstairs and one bedroom & bathroom downstairs. Rural aspect and about 15 minutes drive from Kildare. Lovely, thoughtful owner. Look for the Fearmore sign on the property as google maps tends to take you to the house prior.
I would recommend this hotel , the location was absolutely brilliant central for everything 10 mins walk from Kildare village 10 mins walk to the train station all staff were so friendly and helpful two lovely restaurants in the hotel as well
The Rooms at Cunningham’s was easy to find, we always use the post code on our GPS.
The car park is directly beside the building with parking in the rear.
Good walking in town with shops & restaurants.
The room was large.
Conveniently located on a quiet lane way off the centre of Kildare. Brilliant comfortable living area and separate bedroom. Hosts very kindly provided lots of snacks and drinks. The entire property was spotlessly clean.
Lovely hotel and rooms, so clean, spacious and comfortable right in the centre of town, walking distance from Kildare outlet. For excellent in the restaurant and staff friendly! Booked for next year already!
The room was lovely. Very comfortable, and well appointed. We were able to park on the street very nearby. The location is in the central area of town, nearby some good restaurants. Very pleasant stay.
We had a lovely stay at the Kildare house hotel. The room was clean and comfortable.
The food was excellent and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely book another stay soon
Austin was incredibly friendly and was so nice to make us some delicious scones for breakfast. Very nice place with a convenient location as we were on our way from Dublin to the west of Ireland
