I was staying with my groomsmen as I was to be married in the town the next day and it was the perfect location and the whole experience had me relaxed and prepared. We had a wonderful night in Portnoo. Mary and Michael were incredibly welcoming to their home, and are both very warm, lovely people. They greeted us with tea and biscuits on arrival which was lovely after a long cycle. The house has stunning views of the sea and the room was very comfortable. Mary gave us our first full Irish breakfast in the morning! Portnoo itself is a great place, with a lovely pub, cafe and beach. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return!

Great location for visiting the southern part of Donegal. Nice very clean 2 bed apartment (3 double beds and 2 bathrooms) with all the facilities we needed. Kathleen was lovely and very helpful. We ate in the Highlands Hotel which is right next door.
