Wonderful comfy hotel in ideal location just a short walk to the Titanic Experience. Good breakfast in nice restaurant over the water
We stayed here for a few days to visit the distillery.
We stayed here for a few days to visit the distillery. We booked a tour where did they explained how the whiskey was made. How did the distillery became to what it is today and what they still make. They also explained how do you make the whiskey, what process looks like and of course, which one is the most popular.
Is was really nice, you got a tour trough the old distillery and trough the new distillery.

Definitely recommend the Farmers Market and a walk up the high street exploring some of the sights off the street behind or above shops. The distillery is well worth a visit. We love visiting the sea and there are plenty of beches within easy access of Midleton. CastleMartyr resort is a lovely place to visit as has fab outdoor spaces, history, spa provision and we has a plentiful afternoon tea there. Midleton is within easy access of Cork city and a trip via train from Midleton is well worth it. East Ferry to have a drink at Murphs bar is a nice trip as is photo island.

Friendly little town we walked around before visiting the Jameson Distillery. Parking is scarce, even on a Tuesday morning, so we had to park and walk half a mile. Bring a travel umbrella....it often showers, then brightens up again, then showers again (mid July). We met many locals on the street who were friendly, helpful,

Town Centre is a short walk from the Hotel. The Main Street has a great variety of Shops, Cafes, Bars and Restaurants. Opposite the Hotel is a more modern Shopping Centre with a large Supermarket. The Whiskey Distillery Tour is a must. Close by is Fota Wildlife Park and Cobh also well worth a visit to the Titanic Exhibition.

I enjoyed the woman running the B&B but would not book a stay so far from the town again. It was a choice--did I want to spend over $20.00 every time I wanted to get into town with a taxi and back again? I didn't rent a car. The area was beautiful, but I wouldn't stay there again without renting a car because there's nothing to do otherwise. Also, the breakfast part of the place was a box of cereal, a refigerated container of milk, and a coffee maker with coffee. I would not go to this facility again.
This is all about the character of the place, the friendliness of the owner and the welcome I experienced. About as far removed from a faceless branded hotel as you can get. I really felt like a valued guest and was right at home the moment I walked through the door. The location is very convenient for the town and the breakfast is superb. A lovely, unpretentious place to relax. And if Glen the dog doesn’t win your heart it must be made of stone.
Mary was an excellent host. She was pleasant, extremely knowledgeable about the area, and happy to share. The area was beautiful, and close enough to Cork to feel central though the house is in a rural setting. The rooms were clean and well-appointed and breakfast was plentiful and diverse. Over our 4-day stay it was never quite the same, and I appreciated finding little surprises every morning. I can't recommend staying here enough.
The building was very clean and well kept. We got a very warm welcome from the host, and a filling breakfast in the morning. The house is in a nice quiet area a bit off from Midleton. The room was cozy and spacious. At breakfast we had a nice chat with the host, and she told us about the history of the house, and gave us some great tips for where to go next. The atmosphere was super friendly overall.
This property truly lives up to its name. We felt tranquil as we viewed Cork Harbor from our room. As the first stay in our tour around Ireland, it gave us the needed beginning rest and then was a great hub to explore around the area. Mary made us feel right at home.
The house provided pretty much everything we needed and there was a pub within walking distance for an evening meal and a pint.
Everything. Broomfield is gorgeous. Very cosy and lush, tastefully decorated, warm, the kitchen is great and fully stocked with everything, beds comfortable, the views, nature and animal life around are stunning, the hosts are super welcoming as are the two farm dogs :)
The farm is two minutes from Midleton, very easy accessible.
We had a really lovely stay and hope to be back next year.
Amazing home just a few blocks outside Midleton! Beautifully decorated and complete kitchen to cook up a meal! The owner left us some fresh eggs and milk in the fridge that we used for breakfast! 😊. The setting was in the country with sheep, horses, chickens all around and so peaceful. Loved everything about our stay in this beautiful and very comfortable home.
WOW FACTOR! A curving treelined avenue leads up to this wonderful 1890's property.. large comfy bedroom and bathroom with fantastic views over the east Cork countryside. Just 8 mins from Middleton.
Comfy bed. Private parking.
Hostess is so welcoming.
Looking forward to returning in the near future. Excellent all round experience.
A beautiful bed and breakfast on our tour of Ireland. The manager was delightful, offering local recommendations and dishing up a perfect Irish breakfast. Having a free car spot was a bonus. Midleton is a quaint town with great food options and the nearby Jameson distillery, which is all in walking distance.
Authentic Irish accommodations with a breakfast fit for an Irish prince. Walking distance to town and shopping. You can also walk to the Jameson distillery, which was awesome. 20-minute drive to cork. I've been traveling in Ireland and Great Britain for a couple of weeks now, and this was our favorite.
The staff of the hotel is really nice health in every way possible. Hotels close to the Middleton Park distillery you can get there by foot is made it quite easy to travel there and also get a few drinks. At night, we eat in a restaurant of hotel. They had a good menu at the staff is really kind.
We loved staying outside of town at this farm. They have two friendly dogs, plus a horse, sheep, chickens, etc. It was very convenient to Midleton and we could take the train to Cork. The house is roomy and all appliances worked well.
Comfortable clean room with all the basics that we needed. Modern kitchen, toilet, shower and heating. Comfortable beds! Our toddler loved it too!
We had our car so it was in a handy location for Fota, Midleton and Cobh.
We had an excellent stay at carrigshane house. The hostess went out of their way to accommodate us. They were so nice and polite. The garden and the surroundings were beautiful. We will definitely be staying again.
Ms. Marie and Sean were exceptionally kind and generous with their time and effort’s to make my son and I comfortable with our stay in Midleton and will surely stay again when we return next year! Mike Keogh
Lovely host, very accommodating, couldn't do enough for us. Very charming property almost felt like you were visiting family or friends rather than a hotel.
