The property was absolutely beautifully decorated, with the perfect view of Prag Mahal from the roof terrace. It’s a two minute walk from the main market aswell as various other attractions. If you are in Bhuj for textiles- this is the place to stay, the whole house is covered in vintage kutchi embroideries!
The hosts Kuldeep and Rajesh were helpful from the moment I stepped through the door- offering me dinners and breakfast out of sheer kindness! They made an effort to constantly check up on me which made me feel incredibly safe especially being a solo female traveller. They were very helpful booking Auto Rickshaws to close by villages and securing me a fair price. The hosts also have an endless list of suggestions for foods, sweets and drinks to try!
The property is new and very clean and well kept. My room had a really strong AC and fan to cool my in the 45 degrees outside🥵

Beautiful property, beautiful rooms, everything was beautiful only that it needs to be maintained well, and cleanliness should be the priority as well. The rooms felt a bit dusty, the kettle was supper dirty couldn't use it, the cups and the glasses were dirty as well. Had asked for some milk specifically asking them to cover the glass while getting it to the room, yet the glass of milk was uncovered, asked them to bring a fresh glass of milk covered and they brought it in the tea flask which was gross inside out. In the restaurant as well the glasses and cups and bowls were really dirty, asked them to wash them and they were the same. The food was really good. The staff was polite and courteous. The only thing is that cleanliness and maintenance are highly neglected.

Bhuj is too filthy, too many animals ( cows, dogs pigs etc in the street, I travel since years in India, I dont know a city where one finds so much old and used plastics in the streets .
The so called ‘highlights are in an appalling state of disrepair and very, very filthy ( eg: inches of dust on exhibits, broken exhibits etc)
My advice: avoid Bhuj, not worth going, sorry

Prag Mahal, ayana Mahal, downtown market, swaminarayan temple, chhatardi etc places good to visit. Several nearby artisan villages are good to visit, especially if one has an eye for traditional arts, mainly textile. City's cleanliness and hygiene needs a big upgrade. People are friendly and helpful.

Access point to Dholavira and the Rann of Kutch.
Access point to Dholavira and the Rann of Kutch. From the airport en route to Dholavira seemed to have too much garbage littered around. The place has considerable tourist attraction and yet it allows such piles of garbage - a big turn off! The road to Dholavira at many places was practically unmotorable.

We had an excellent stay at Sharad Baug Homestay in Bhuj.
The Owner welcomed us personally and whole family took special care which is rare to get nowadays.
Breakfast was homely and tasty.
Surrounding is filled with greenery. We stayed there for a night but it was so comfortable that we will plan to stay for few more days in future.
One should plan for longer stay to enjoy Sharad Baug Homestay.
The guesthouse was neat and clean and perfect for a family stay. Mr Ishaan, owner of the property is very kind and gentlemen. He guided us for the places to visit near bhuj .
Restaurants are within 5 min distance from guesthouse ..there is mini kitchen inside house with induction, and can be used for making tea/ coffie
Overall stay was very pleasent.
The traditional theme of this hotel is feast for the eyes and offers a refreshing change from the typical modern hotel. In the evening, the open sky is a great place to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Although it is a bit far from the city, the empty space is part of what makes it such a memorable place to stay.
Ishanbhai is a great host, he is so humble and supportive. He guided me to arrange my tour. He also given me some good food destination in bhuj. Location of the property is just 5 minutes away by car from Jubilee Circle. It was a great stay. I am strongly recommending this place.
I was denied by hotel in spite of booking confirmation from booking.com.
They told me that booking.com is a useless website and are not updating it's status on frequent basis.
The owner also told me that she give least preference from customer from booking.com
The hotel was easy to find. The buffet dinner and breakfast were great value for money. The rooms were very clean, large and had everything travellers require. Great location with views of Bhuj.
I would come back and recommend others to stay while in Bhuj.
It was near to main tourist places of Bhuj. So easy to visit museums, temples and historical places. There was enough space for parking. Rooms were neet and clean. we were able to get food by online apps like swiggy and zomato with fast service.
Ashish is an amazing host. He helped us get a taxi and arranged our trip around Bhuj.
The place was clean and very well maintained.
The breakfast we got was delicious.
We had such a great stay.
Fern Bhuj is not a good place to stay. The staff are clueless about hospitality due to lack of proper training in hotel management.
We will never stay in any Fern hotels in India
very comfortable, friendly and a welcoming hotel. gardens were delightful ….didn’t expect a hotel of this calibre in Bhuj. wish we could have stayed longer.
European standard of clean in India homestay. Excelent value for money. Ashish is very helpful and arrange everything. If I go to Bhuj again I will stay here.
