Of course it's paid for by the rather high room rate (compared to hotels in Baghdad that cannot be booked online), but the daily basket with fruit, biscuit and drinks was still a nice touch. The breakfast was definitely a decent one, though nothing special compared to what I had at several much cheaper hotels in Iraq. I really appreciated that I could check in and get my room already when I arrived at 7 a.m.

Location, was good, just the hassle of going in and out of the hotel was a little much as security for the hotel a tight but nothing too crazy that deters you from going in.

Need advice on a local shawarma with specific requests? They know it all. In need of info before travelling (domestic and international)? They're like the local Wikipedia. I've honestly never felt such trust for any hotel staff anywhere else. Thank you for making my visit MAGICAL!
