We had a large room with a sea view, wich was clean and quiet . A young girl st the reception, who also had cooked for us, was very friendly. We had a very delicious dinner in the hotel. For breakfast we could order fresh eggs.

We loved our room in Farmhouse Lodge. It looked quite new and fresh, with no signs of excessive use. The bathroom was very comfy, it had everything we needed. The beds were one of the most comfortable ones we've ever slept in. We loved the farm vibe, the common area was just perfect and so cosy, we regretted that we did not have more time to hang out there. We will definitely come back!

The cottage is located close to No.1 ring road and several tourist attractions: Skogafoss waterfall, Dyrhólaey cliffs and Reynisfjara beach. The living room is very large and offers fantastic views on the nearby mountains. The kitchen and bedrooms are well equipped, beds are confortable. We called the owner on the phone on arrival who brought the keys in a couple of minutes.

The best stay in our whole trip - the views are absolutely stunning and breathtaking, worth every penny. Super comfy bed. Staying here was an additional attraction, not just a place to sleep :) Localization was perfect - near the black beach.

Beautiful location and room with a view. The kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom and toilet were very clean with nice smelling hand soap. The room was very spacious and comfortable (great pillows, sink with coffee/tea facilities and 2 very comfy chairs too). Everything was decorated with thought and love. The host was so kind and gracious showcasing what the region has to offer and gave us a tour of the sheep pen too :) Just a kilometer to Reynisfjara beach to view the Basalt columns plus the bonus of getting to pet the dogs and cat too. Highly recommended!
I booked a cottage 6 months prior to my arrival
I received an email 2 weeks before my visit that my cottage was double booked and I have to stay in a different cottage for which I would get 50% discount
I Ended up staying in a tiny place that looked like a barn and payed too much for what it’s worth, considering I was told I was paying 50 % ( I was not )
Pretty disappointing
