Very convenient location, 2 minutes from the hotel the railway station, 3 stops then change to the metro and you are in the center of the old city. Delicious breakfast. The staff is always ready to answer any questions and help as much as possible. Thank you, everything was as comfortable as possible.
I arrived before check-in time and was immediately moved into a room (there was such an opportunity).
There was a very lack of iron and cups or glasses in the room. Everything else is great.

The property was beautiful, the staff friendly, and the local cats entertaining without being intrusive. The location was convenient to Rome (we drove ~25 minutes to a terminal train station and took the train into the city) but was very serene. The beds were not that comfortable but the sounds of nature through the open windows made for a peaceful night of sleep. We had a decent dinner at the restaurant and a delicious breakfast on the outdoor patio. While we were only there for a stop on our tour through Italy, the property had very beautiful areas designed for special events. The view of the surrounding area was breathtaking. While it was exactly what we needed at that stage of our trip, the location is somewhat secluded so there is not much else around the property.

Very good location for sightseeing outside Rome.
Very good location for sightseeing outside Rome. Medieval castle complex, although our room was not in what most people would consider the castle proper, it was in a medieval period ancillary building - great big thick walls, heavy doors, wooden shutters. However very modern bathroom and good wifi. Great ambience! Ground were beautiful. Restaurant was very good, also served as breakfast room. Ample quantity, variety and quality for included breakfast with delish cappuccino.
There were 2 long driveways to access castle complex, depending on which direction you came from. We used both, they were fine unlike other reports. Yes there were lots of cats outside but they didn’t try to enter buildings and added to rural ambience.
Great wineries nearby, Etruscan and Roman ruins. Definitely needed more time. Lots of emphasis on farm to table cooking (or 0km, as the Italians call it) in area.
Lots of staff spoke at least some English, I had a couple months with an online program so could speak a bit of Italian - no communication issues except at the pizzeria on the estate.
In summer they have the largest outdoor pool I’ve ever seen.

Almost everything was perfect.
Almost everything was perfect. The hotel and surroundings took our breath away. However the distance from Rome city is a lot further than advertised. And expensive to get to the city by hotel shuttle. Although the drivers are worth every penny spent given the distance and traffic they have to battle. Courtious, informative and efficient.
I love animals but cats everywhere you turn including the restaurant was too much to take. The cats would not stop me from staying again. The distance and expense of getting to and from from the city would.
it is in a beautiful location, very picturesque. a charming hotel with rooms in different buildings, medieval in lool and feel but still very comfortable with all ammenities. we stayed one night but would have enjoyed to stay longer. breakfast was great for Italy and served on a beautiful terrace, until 10:30. staff was kind and helpful. would recommend
Breakfast was perfectly fine. Staff was friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist Roberta who assisted us in getting a taxi to our next destination. Due to the remoteness of the hotel, transportation must be booked a day in advance. From the suites there's a nice vista of the Castrum Boccea estate and the surrounding countryside.
The rooms were spacious and the bed comfortable. Despite having glitter on its walls, the pizza at the restaurant close by in the complex (the hotel restaurant was closed) was surprisingly good and the server very nice.
Being a last-minute reservation, we were pleasantly surprised by the hotel’s grounds. It was nice having a late check-in available. Plentiful breakfast and fairly direct, 30-min drive to FCO airport.
Beautiful setting -- just 30 minutes from FCO. A convenient place to stay when coming or going into Rome's airport. Good meal, though a limited menu. Views of sunflower fields from the hotel.
The hotel is located in a very nice, rural surrounding. No traffic, no noise. The breakfast is superb, unusual in Italy, European style, even fresh fruit is served.
