Beautiful old villa with all the charm of a bygone era. Loved the family of horses roaming free in the grounds who came to welcome us. Great pool and fantastic food. Great value 👍

We were met by Giuseppe and shown to our room. It was large and airy with a view across to a church. We thought it was very nicely decorated and had an homely feel. Breakfast was good. The location was very good with parking at the front. We would recommend a stay here.

The most beautiful city of Sicily mainly thanks to the ubiquitous ceramics in public spaces, balconies, ceramic workshops and shops. We recommend the restaurant Floriano, where we had a very good meal in a pleasant environment and at a reasonable price.

Caltagirone is a nice city, having friendly people around and very helpful.
Lots of restaurants offering good food with moderate prices.
A city rich in history, offering beautiful views from its highest points.
Also it offers a roads connection to other cities like Catania on one side and Gela on the other.

The city is full of wonderful ceramic shops.
The city is full of wonderful ceramic shops. Once you find a spot to park, and it is free to park in the town, it is very walkable, although very hilly. If the weather turns bad, the town actually disappears into the fog. We found some wonderful ceramics here. I would have liked to have had a longer time to more fully explore the town.

Caltagirone is s must for ceramic lovers from all nations.
Caltagirone is s must for ceramic lovers from all nations. Master artists create stunning individual works of art, many taking more than a week to decorate in bright Majolica. The town was rebuilt in Baroque style, after the town was destroyed by a 17th century earthquake. The ceramics museum, situated in an old theatre, is undergoing renovations, and needs it. However, it displays a phenomenal wealth of Caltagirone ceramics through the ages. Pots from the 18th and 19th centuries seem to predominate, along with Greek from 500 BC. Despite being run down, the museum is well worth a visit (€4). The civic museum is situated in a beautifully renovated old courthouse and jail which is worth visiting for the building alone, never kind the superb artworks, various judicial uniforms, religious bits and, of course, some ceramics. Everything is an easy walk away and its a lovely, busy proper little town... Accessible by bus from Palermo (3.5 hrs), or Catania (1.5 hrs). Just in case you're in any doubt, I loved Caltagirone!
The rooms were so nice and clean. The AC/Heat worked well and I was very comfortable. Giuseppe, the manager, stayed late to welcome us as our flight was delayed into Catania. Giuseppe is very knowledgeable about wine, the property, the area of Caltagirone. He helped us so much and was so friendly. The hotel offers a wine tasting and dinner which is an extra cost, but worth it. Giuseppe leads the tour, talks to you about the wine and the food. The food is exceptional homemade Sicilian food. Again this wine tasting and dinner is a must do.
Our room at hotel WF2 was one of the nicest of our car trip around Sicily. Very spacious, there’s plenty of room to unpack and unwind. The bed was very comfortable and service was impeccable. The bathtub- shower offered a great soak. Breakfast was delicious and served to our dietary preferences. The location provided easy access to local touring. Thank you to a super friendly, helpful staff.
The owner Ignazio is very welcoming, he gave us tips were to go to eat, which streets to take, made sure everything was good for us even for breakfast. We were with the motorcycle and there was a secure space for it. The place is very very clean and the room was really comfortable. The bnb is just a few minutes away from Caltagirone center and has an awesome view. Breakfast was very good.
My group of 6 traveling women rented out all three rooms. The rooms were super comfy. The staff greeting us was kind. Great directions from the free parking lot to our place was correct (we had a 9 passenger van so we couldn’t go down the small side streets to park closer) we loved being on the center position of the famous staircase. The town of Caltagirone was very welcoming.
First, it was genuinely nice that the host met us at the big square with a clear address. So, we found it easily, and from there we followed her car to the parking place that would be rather difficult to find alone. In the apartment we found everything that we needed plus the beauty of everything that surrounded us. Caltagirone is a lovely town and we enjoyed staying there,
Perfect location in the center of the old town. An exceptionally large apartment, comfortably furnished, although for me too many gadgets instead of real comforts. Lovely view from balcony window but street quite noisy. Nice hosts. The owner picked us up and brought his own car from the bus station to the hotel - that was very nice.
Location is everything and the view from the Juliette Balcony was stupendous. Right in the heart of Caltagirone on the main street. The hostess is very nice and directed us by cell where to park our car for free. She even met us at our car and walked over to the hotel together. I would stay here again.
This is a very special little B&B, the customer care is 5 star treatment from the staff. If you’re new to Caltagirone the staff are so welcoming, you are treated like family. So friendly & the most comfortable beds in caltagirone, the rooms are spacious & very modern with immaculate finishes to the rooms.
Clean, comfortable room with a balcony and fantastic view of the countryside. The staff was very polite and helpful. The pool looked inviting but the weather was cool so we did not try to swim. It was a very quiet atmosphere and hotel did not seem to be fully booked.
Conveniently located just outside the city centre with parking available inside the property. The host was very welcoming and he also offered to show us the main sites of the city with his car. We will definitely revisit when we plan another trip to Caltagirone.
- The host was very nice and he made us breakfast in the morning. He was very communicative, he advised us where to safely park our car for free. The room and the bathroom were very spacious - they look more like hotel than typical B&B room
Fantastic location, and a very accommodating innkeeper. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in getting us oriented to Caltagirone. Our room looked right out onto the piazza, which was excellent.
Perfectly placed bed and breakfast in Caltagirone with stunning views across the town. Very welcoming and hospitable host who created a cosy and relaxing atmosphere. Loved it!
Great location and very welcoming owner. The room and bathroom were huge. There's a free parking less than a minute walk from the hotel. Highly recommend!
