Very cozy local hotel in good place if you want to visit Chinque Terre. Very clean rooms. Tasty breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Best thing - that you can stay with your pet for free.
Set on a working farm in Framura, La Foce Del Prato has a garden and a sun terrace with sun loungers. It offers free Wi-Fi in public areas and classic-style accommodation with a sea-view balcony.

The owner is very friendly and helpful, although he speaks little English we're able to communicate with help of Google translate sometimes. He gave nice recommendations for hiking trails. Breakfast is included and awesome with fruits, yogurt, cold cuts, coffee/milk and some pastries. The sea view from the rooms are absolutely amazing I really sat there to wait for sunsets.
It's a 20min walk from Framura station (which is not part of cinque terre so it's better because there's little tourists here and it's quiet), but you need to climb up to reach the hostel or take a bus which comes only every one hour. Bus and train schedules are provided by the hostel, there's no issue for me because I usually leave in the morning and come back at night and plan ahead which train timing to take. It's not close to tourist areas so the food here is much cheaper too there's a supermarket, and a very good pizza place less than 5 minutes walk up the hostel, to which the owner provided a map of the whole Framura area.
Beds are comfortable with charging pots next to bed, lockers available, one bathroom per room and is clean. My train was at night and the owner was kind enough to allow me to leave my backpack after checkout to collect it in the evening.

So close to the « 5 terres », the path to Monterosso is just outside the hotel. There is a very nice swimming pool to rest after the walk.

A perfect, tranquil spot, with lots of character, off the beaten track but close enough to everything.. No shops and limited eating places. But some lovely walks, a harbour and beach. Hotel Augusta has a lovely sea view restaurant with delicious well priced meals.
A few km from Deiva Marina Freeway exit for a stopover. A cluster of nice villages in Framura, the Meri hotel overlooks the valley and the small village of Costa with its tower and church. The host was very nice and he gave a good suggestion for dinner as his restaurant is closed. It was a nice place
called Bar ristorante Nicora in Montaretto at only 5mins by car. We ate very well. The hotel breakfast was good too. Free parking . Seems a popular place for hiking, cycling in the surrounding areas.
very lovely hotel on the mountainside of Framura. we stayed in Vernazza the night before and it was also lovely, but hotel Meri was farther away from the big crowds of tourists and was a very relaxing location. the view was absolutely stunning from the terrace. the hotel owner is incredibly kind and helpful. he was such a phenomenal host, making sure we got to the train, sharing a glass of wine with us, and assisting with any questions or concerns we have.
Clean and comfortable room with sea view (somewhat spoilt by the washing line in front). Good breakfast. Good wifi. Framura is an interesting and picturesque place part-way up a very steep hill, with narrow lanes and very steep steps connecting the various bits together, including the railway station on the coast. There are a couple of small bars nearby; the one I went in was nice, and a few locals were having things to eat as well as drink.
This hotel was such a suprise for us! At the hotel there is a bar and a lounge area where you can get a beer or a icecream, perfect after a long day! There is also a good restaurant right downstairs, so that couldnt be easier. If you are going to travel to Cinque Terre, the hotel is bit far from the station, but there are a lot og parking spots there, so its easy to drive to the station and take the train from there!
It is not only a hotel, it is a great experience with people, food, and nature, we really enjoyed our stay.
- easy to reach with a car, big parking
- nice surroundings, you can wander around vineyards and fruit trees
- modern and spacious room
- delicious food, make sure to stay for dinner and try local wine
- very kind and friendly owners. Thank you Luca and Laura.
This is the best hotel we stayed in on our tour of Northern Italy road trip. The staff was super friendly and the view from our room was superb! The food was tasty. It is very charming and in a great location. Bonassola is just a short drive away. I recommend this hotel for you stay. We'd happily stay there again.
We have liked our stay at Sesta Terra! The resort is beautifully located just off Framura and offers stunning views and a nice pool area. The breakfast served is just great considering the covid circumstances! The lady rocking the pool bar and bar is just wonderful and served a fantastic local gin!
It was a very pleasant stay in Meri hotel. We really enjoyed!
Everything was good : host (very helpful and kind), very confortable room, nice view, quality and cleanliness and relax location close to Cinque Terre.
We are looking forward coming back in this hotel for our next trip in Ligure area!
Framura is a beautiful small village with nice views of the ocean and surrounding landscape. Nice location for hiking. Quiet village, with easy train access to Cinque Terre. There seemed to be other accommodations that were nicer/cleaner if you are looking to stay in Fraumua.
Absolutely breathtaking and peaceful location. Really enjoyed the beauty and hospitality of the property and staff. We were so lucky to have found this amazing gem! The shuttle from the hotel to the local train made getting to cinque terre very very easy.
Great service! The rooms are big and with nice views, beds are big and comfortable.
Great parking and pool also!
We recommend having dinner there, the food is amazing!!!
If you want to visit cinque terre, the train from framura is very good!
The town and the views from the hostel are just stunning! Framura is an absolutely beautiful town that is quite and peaceful, with amazing nature, beaches, and very close to famous Cinque if you want to visit.
Beautiful part of Italy & amazing views.
Proximity to Framura train station to visit Clinque Terre.
The locals are very friendly & nice restaurant in Costa.
