The apartment is much bigger than it looks in the photos. It is very clean, parking provided, easy to walk everywhere in town, a bar and wonderful restaurant just a very short walk away. The surprise was that a few hours before check in we received an email requesting a photo of document (passport for us) and a long detailed form to be filled out including making a selfie. Then we received the code for the lockbox. It would have been nice if we had been told a day earlier that this was coming as we do not use cellular when traveling in Europe, just happened to use restaurant WIFI at lunch, and found the email. Also, there is no number 3 at the property, there is a number 1 to the left of the lockbox. The agent insisted there was a 3, we looked everywhere and there was no number 3.

This hotel is situated on thermal springs, which feed several pools, both indoor and outdoor. These springs were the main reason we visited, as the hotel is otherwise in a remote location. Unfortunately, the springs were the only highlight of our stay.
The room was mediocre. No real problems, but it wasn't modern or well-designed, which might be acceptable for a short business trip on a budget, but it's completely inadequate for a destination where people come specifically to relax and enjoy themselves.
Parking is free and numerous. Pools are included in the price. However, they require swimming cap and unless you have it with you -- you'll have to buy it (as well as towels, bath robes and slippers). A small rip-off.

Fabiano and Maria Rosa are so friendly and the hospitality they gave me was truly exemplary, such kind and gentle people you could ever wish to ask for . I arrived very late in the evening and it was no trouble for them to open up their kitchen and make me a wonderful antipasti plate of local goods and serve me some home made wine. Incredible host and their lovely dog Argo is very well behaved and very sweet.
Room was spotless and good value and everything you needed was there, it’s a charming modest little Locanda and does exactly what you want it to and more due to the incredible hospitality given by Fabiano and Maria Rosa
I look forward to my return

PS WiFi was great as there was limited phone signal in the building/village

The lady who welcomed us was very helpful and accommodating. The bedroom was spacious and had pretty decor. Everything was very clean. There is a small supermarket and coffee bar right next to the hotel. There were old photographs from years gone by and some traditional pottery on display in the common area, where there was a coffee machine. Nice seating there also.
