The host Mr. Aldo, a thorough gentleman, ever helpful and accommodated my requests. I won't specify my request because I do not want people exploiting his goodness. Location of the hotel couldn't get more perfect. Only if u r travelling by Flixbus it is a little distance from where it stops, but Aldo was too kind and sorted the hurdle I faced. I would definitely revisit Lanciano and stay at the Albergo Roma. Excellent view too.

Our primary reason for visiting Lanciano was to see the Church of the Eucharistic Miracle. The front entrance to the church was a bit hard to discern, but once inside it's easy to find things. The area around the church has some pretty older buildings and is nice to walk around. It was a relaxing visit for us, and the people were friendly. We learned a few simple Italian phrases before our visit, and found that helpful.

A quaint town made famous by the Eucharistic Miracle that happened there. A visit to the shrine alone is enough to visit the town. It's strategic position between mountain and sea make Lanciano a compelling proposition for those who want to soak in some nature.
The fruit, juice, milk, coffee, water and pastries were fine for breakfast with a bonus sample of their olive oil to try! The location was very central to the medieval part of Lanciano with a lovely local festival on the nights we were there. We enjoyed the little balcony. It is in a residential area which gives a very authentic experience. Car parking was available on the street not far away and we were able to drop bags at the door. Fabulous vaulted ceilings.
Valeria has a lovely little town house in the historic centre of Lanciano. It's very prettily decorated and has everything you will need for your stay. The kitchen is small but very well-equipped for breakfast and simple meals, and there was also a beautiful cake left for us. Best of all, and not mentioned in the original listing, the house has a small roof terrace to sit out in the evening which was a real bonus.
The apartment is much bigger than can be appreciated in the fotos and is fully equipped, with all you can possibly need (and more). The hosts are exceptionally nice people, they made our stay in Lanciano memorable with their kindness and willingness to help. We are really happy we met them and got to know first hand the famous Abruzzo hospitality.
The entire fittings were well selected, with attention to detail! I could really feel well and at home - after having spent quite some time in hotels! Super centrally located and excellent recommendations by the owner to explore the city and its surroundings!
Marielena was very quick to respond to questions. Our family of 5 had a last minute stop in Lanciano, and she accommodated us beautifully with two apartments. A/C worked well. Rooms clean, quiet, there was even water for us in the fridge.
Wonderful place next to the main piazza in beautiful Lanciano.. the room was perfect and the lady hostess is the sweetest and kindest person.. she made sure i was happy in every way ! I shall return !! :) Dr Stefano Paul
We didnt have time to explore the location but were able to enjoy a meal at the restaurant below the hotel. The food was very good. The bed was comfortable and we were pleased to find private parking to the front of the hotel.
Antonella, the host of the place, was very helpful in explaining where to go, what to do, where to park! The location is also amazing, in the city center of the small town of Lanciano, 15 mins away from the seaside by car.
Clean and cozy house in a very quiet place, a few minutes from Lanciano. Our host was extremely kind and helpful, saved our holiday as our car's battery died. I hope we can return soon, thanks again your great hospitality!
Lovely agriturismo just outside of Lanciano, beautiful property. Food was great! Vincenzo is a wonderful host! He offered lots of information about growing both his olives and grapes, even offered samples of his wine!
Lovely hotel, very clean and central. Feels very cozy and the owner is friendly and helpful, he gave us great recommendations on restaurants and things to do in town. Great breakfast with vegan options available.
Location was great—right beside the central square in Lanciano. The room was very clean and nicely furnished, and the bed was comfortable. Wifi worked well. The owners were also friendly and accommodating.
Beautifully restored home in the historic center of Lanciano. Walkable to the main piazzo, shops and a few restaurants. It has a washing machine which is great for travelers.
