This hotel is the textbook example of the great Italian traditional hotel. The views are just amazing… We had a deluxe room with sea view terrace - totally worth it. We never ate out in fact as the feed and view from the restaurant were unlikely to be matched elsewhere. Ferry port transfer worked well.

Everything. This was a gem of a find.

Just a 10-minute walk from Sorrento centre you will find this modern hotel complete with swimming pool and a restaurant with panoramic view across the Bay of Naples.

This hotel is very current. The room on the front was noisy with traffic constantly flowing past. They didn't have a room free to move us. The reception staff friendly , helpful and polite. I went to breakfast on 31/05/2024 although my itian is a little ropey. It was very clear the breakfast manager was rude to other members of staff. In fact he caused me great distress as I watched him screaming in a waitress face. He kept marching her off and back in again shouting. This was constant for the whole of the breakfast lasting over 45minutes.

Staff were wonderful, gardens beautiful and the location is fantastic. Sitting in the bar balcony in the evening overlooking the bay of Naples with a drink served by wonderful staff is as good as it gets

Il Faro is right on the harbour in Sorrento, which is great if you are thinking of visiting 1 of the islands. Have a traditional Neapolitan pizza at the Vela Bianca restaurant.
