Everything was very comfortable. Set in a quiet rural position. We were warmly welcomed, the staff were super efficient, always ready to help and very friendly. The chef is excellent! We had some of the best meals in Puglia in the restaurant there. The most delicious omelettes for breakfast.

We appreciated our host Magda for her kindness and hospitality! We arrived after midnight and she made sure to leave us instructions how to arrive safetly and even stayed late to make sure everything is ok. The place itself is magical, our trulli was perfect and gave us an amazing experience of how people lived in this region. It is very quite and peaceful, would definitely recommend it!

Martina Franca is located within the province of Taranto in...
Martina Franca is located within the province of Taranto in central Puglia. It has a compact old town, where you can still trace the ring of old city walls, puntuated by occasional round towers at corners. It's one of Puglia's "white cities", so called because the buildings are all painted in bright whitewash. It's a quiet city, but the old centre is equipped with some great restaurants, coffee shops and places where you can sit down and enjoy gelato. The city is centrally located, and parking wasn't too hard, which means that it's an ideal base if you plan to drive around the region and visit other cities such as Locorotondo (barely 15 minutes away), Alberobello, Matera and Lecce. It's also thankfully spared from the hordes of tourists that tend to descend en masse on other cities in Puglia, so it's retained more charm than some of its neighbours in the region.MichaelMalta - 10Scored 10

This was one of the most beautiful apartments imaginable. The 2 bedrooms are spaced widely apart for ultimate privacy. The decor and facilities are top notch. This owner did an outstanding renovation compared to so many that I have seen where the original home was "butchered" to save money. The rooftop terrace is lovely and we had a neighborhood cat who traversed the rooftops to visit up every morning. He didn't get close, just kept an eye out for treats. We didn't do any cooking because there are hundreds of lovely restaurants that we wanted to try, but the kitchen appeared to be completely equipped.TitaUnited States - 10Scored 10

Martina Franc combines beauty and cleanliness with many of the services of a large city. The restaurants are very good. The cafes on the square are a great place to enjoy coffee and pastry while people watching. The people are friendly and helpful. My Italian is not good but if the person I was speaking to didn't understand me they found someone that did speak English.

Martina Franca is a charming town, not overly touristed, with many restaurants and bars. We especially like Muscato Bar for our morning coffee and cornetto and also for afternoon apertivi; Culo e Camicia makes fantastic pizza; fried pizza appetizer, and any pasta with with the homemade tomato sauce at Ristorante Garibaldi is THE BEST! The people of Martina Franca are friendly; many speak some English. It is a great base for exploring Alberobello, Locorotondo, Cisternino, Taranto, and Grotto di Castellana.

Martina Franca is a beautiful town, probably a little overlooked by a lot of visitors because of its close proximity to Locorotondo, Aberobello and Cisternino, though it also offers a great base to visit them from. The town has some fantastic architecture along its streets, particularly in the old town and the piazzas are great locations for admiring the buildings and a bit of relaxation. There are lots of restaurants to choose from and with less tourists around you can really immerse yourself in the Italian culture and way of life.

We had an unexpected problem with hot water, which they promptly moved to solve. The apartment is beautifully and carefully furnished, with everything you might need. There is a large bedroom and a small one and a large living room. It is very convenient as a base to visit other cities in central Puglia. it also has a washing machine and a parking space in the building and everything is closeby - cafés, supermarket, everything.

Our Trulli was great, we ate at the restaurant on site serving mostly produce from the farm and had the chance to explore the whole working farm. It was an oasis in a charming part of Italy. All the staff were very accomodating, especially with a couple of old Aussie’s who do not speak Italian!
