After long bicycle ride a very familiar and hospitile atmosphere with very good kitchen. Awesome and rich breakfast. We felt almost at home even if the room was very easy and without TV, but simply nice.

Just 100 metres from the cable car to the Motta- Madesimo ski slopes, Tambò is in the Alps near the Swiss border. It features an 80 m² terrace with mountain views, sun loungers, tables and chairs.

Very large room with mountain (and, alas, ski lifts) view. Great food in the restaurant. Beautiful stop on the way from Italy to Switserland.

Only 50 metres from the Larici cable car in Madesimo, Albergo Soldanella offers a traditional restaurant, TV lounge and free parking. A bar and terrace are also available.

Wonderful hotel in a great location, right in the town center and close to the ski slopes. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and warm. It had a large balcony with a table and chairs, and a small desk with a kettle. Breakfast was rich, with many sweet and savory options. To avoid getting stuck in the snow, we left the car in Campodolcino, took the funicular up to Motta, and from there to Madesimo the free shuttle bus, which arrives very close to the hotel.

Set in Madesimo in the Alps, near the Swiss border, Albergo K2 is next to the Larici cable car. This family-run hotel features a traditional Italian restaurant, TV lounge and reading room.

Many hiking trails around. Plenty of parking space outside the hotel. The establishment is located right under a ski slope and next to a ski lift - as ideal as it gets for skiers. Tasty breakfast with a wide selection of bread. The room had a clean and renovated bathroom.

Just 100 metres from the Montalto cable car, Sport Hotel Alpina has ski-to-door access and a ski pass desk. It offers free Wi-Fi, a spa, and modern Alpine rooms with satellite LCD TVs.

The Hotel is very simple but has everything you need. The staff super kind. Location is ok-ish, a bit far from the village of Madesimo (let's say 5min by car).

Offering a bar and pizzeria restaurant, Campodolcino Camping is 300 metres from the ski slopes of Valchiavenna Madesimo-Campodolcino. You can go fishing in the Liro Stream just outside.
