The property is amazing, the perfect place if you want to wind down away from the crowds. It's in a beautiful spot, right on the beach. However, I feel like the best thing is the staff, truly wonderful. The front desk staff is amazing and helpful! We didn’t have a car and they organized a transfer for us, and provided bikes to move around easily. We had more chances to interact with the restaurant staff, in particular Emanuela, and it was truly an amazing experience, definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Also the cleanings staff was amazing, in particular the blonde woman with short hair and glasses, which I unluckily don’t know the name of but would really like to thank as well. We had lunch and dinner there and the food is absolutely delicious. We travel a lot and pretty much anywhere, and this was one of our favorite stays.
The hotel is greatly suited to those looking for a quiet stay, and hoping to explore the ancient Greek monuments for which the town of Paestum is known.

The archaeological site is very impressive and well worth visiting. The beach area is OK if you like sand, but quite dull. It is not too commercialised. The area inland (particularly the Cilento National Park) is beautiful and well worth a visit. Wish we had had more time to explore.

The park where the Greek ruins are situated is quite isolated, so if you are coming by public transport give yourself plenty of time to get there before dark. There is nothing much around there at night.

Paestum has an AMAZING set of well-preserved ruins, considering they were build some 2,500 years ago! We spent about 3-4 hours there (a little over an hour in the museum, and then a few more hours walking through the ruins. They were amazing to behold. The app downloaded from the museum website (Parco Archeologico di Paestum) was very helpful to learn about the ruins as we walked through them. The kids got rather tired though, so it was good to have a gelato break after leaving the ruins at the nearby cafe.

Some of the finest Greek temples in the world...in Southern Italy! Not to be missed. After time in Venice, we took the train to Bari, rented a card and (in turn) visited one day/night in: Alberobello, Matera, and Paestum. What a wonder trip. It was off-season, which just meant there were no crowds. We had a wonderful time! After Paestum we continued to the Amalfi coast, Pompeii and then to Rome.

Paestum is a fascinating historical site.
Paestum is a fascinating historical site. It has been well preserved and is well worth exploring. The archeological park is well maintained and easy to see in about four hours. The adjacent museum is very new, with an interesting collection of artifacts found in the park. The shops and restaurants lining the roads along the park boundary are fairly typical tourist focused businesses. One exception is the “Museum Cafe”, closest to the museum. It has excellent gelato, and even has babas.

The ruins are spread over a very large area and consist of mainly low stone walls but with three large temples still intact. The museum is a wonderful building of marble faced walls & pillars exhibiting many excellent paintings on the recovered stone slabs from the ruins plus jewellry and pottery. Very fine work and gives such a good idea of the lives of the inhabitants and what they admired.
The entrance fee also covers the ruin complex and is a much reduced price for EU citizens.
The modern town is just that and has various usual amenities.
I really enjoyed my stay here and would have liked to stay longer to explore the area more (the Paestum Archaeological site is a must see). The hotel is very elegant and historic and the staff were kind and welcoming. My room was large, clean, and comfortable and had a view to one of the Greek temples of Paestum. The breakfast was the best I had in Italy with an excellent selection of breakfast items (fruit, breads, meat, eggs, frittata, cheese, etc.) and home-baked cakes as well as delicious coffee.
Great place to stay. Our hosts were really lovely - they picked us up from the station and dropped us off again at the end of the trip. They left some lovely fresh food for us and the garden was beautiful to sit out in. It was about a 20 minute walk to the beach and 5 minute walk from the main area in Paestum. Would recommend this place if you want a whole space to yourselves and a nice garden to sit in. The food in Paestum was incredible and the Buffalo farm is well worth a visit.
This wonderful hotel is in the midst of a family estate with olive and pomegranate trees- quiet and peaceful but just a short walk away from the Greek Temples and a vibrant street of restaurants. The lovely rooms look out on a courtyard and cars are parked in the old horse stables. there was a lavish and delicious homemade breakfast- our best of the trip. The owners were so welcoming! It is perfect!
Absolutely charming location, everything done with love and passion. Perfect for those willing to escape from noisy city life...enjoy beautiful surroundings of Paestum.
Davide and his mum offer a very warm family service.
The only place that offered a free welcome drink and ... the home made breakfast with fresh mozzarella was just amazing (good selection of salty options, not typical for Italy.
Nice, but very small room. Thought we'd booked the larger room, but we were looking at the wrong photos, so we were disappointed. Even when you think you're being careful, it is something to be aware of when using booking.com. Great location above a wine bar and a street full of very good restaurants. Paestum is wonderful.
Amazing beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms and absolutely incredible garden. Super friendly staff, very healthy and tasty Italian breakfast. Paestum main site are nearby as well as plenty of nice restaurants and gelaterias. You can ride a bike here and get the nearest beach in a few minutes or 20
min by walk.
The room was nicely furnished, big enough, and equipped with new furniture. There were a lot of tiny details that made the room very cozy. The room and bathroom were very clean.
The location is wonderful. Right next to the beach. There are also many shops and restaurants nearby.
Absolutely beautiful hotel with a fabulous buffet breakfast. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. A short walk to the beach and a quick drive to the ruins.
The hotel & staff was wonderful! The location was close to the Greek Temples and the beach. I highly recommend this place. They were so friendly and helpful!
