The place is secluded, immersed in nature, exactly like we wanted it. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the place is close to many good hikes.
On top, the food there served at dinner (for a fee) is amazing!

Hosts were lovely. Was nice to get away from it all for a few nights. The breakfasts were good except coffee was never very hot.

This was an amazing stay. I took more videos than pictures of the hotel. The hotel is beautiful and so comfortable. The decorations and attention to detail is there throughout and you can see it. The staff are friendly and very helpful. My room was very nice , and very comfortable. I want to particularly give many heartfelt thanks to the manager Sophia and the receptionist Lucia. Communication started before I arrived in Italy to plan activities. I didn't realize how far I would be out from Florence and transfers being expensive , Sophia went above and beyond to find me the same activities in the area that I was going to do in Florence. She was always there to give suggestions and recommendations. I felt I always had a lot of questions to ask but she was always very polite and willing to help no matter how many times I apologized. Lucia was equally helpful. She helped me navigate my travels and always asked if I need anything further. On my last day I had to leave by 7:00 am, the day before Lucia asked me if I would like a breakfast to go. The morning I left Lucia made me a tea and had a breakfast packed in a box. The bartender although I didn't get his name he always greeted me with a small and made this cherry drink I kept going back for. The customer service here is top tier. You guys are truly amazing. Thank you so much for all your help. I would go back for the customer service alone. I would go back to just explore the area of Stia.
A small town that has some nice restaurants. If you are staying in an Agriturismo you don't need to go out, just for groceries and you can cook your own food.
A quiet town that is friendly. I Was there for work and it was an excellent stay.
Lots to do if your the outdoor type. We had brought bikes and there are off road trails you can walk or cycle between the localities small towns. Pratovecchio is on the edge of Forests di Campigna with lots of opportunities for hiking and mountain biking. The apartment is right on on main street but being top floor is quite. Local rail link can get you to to Rome or Florence
Casentino where Pratovecchio and La Cassetta is, is a beautiful place, full of historic places = castles, preserved nature, river Arno, tasty local specialities and LOVELY people. I do recommend La Casetta. Moira, the owner is very nice and ready to help you. And give an advice about the place. If possible, I will return.
