The facility and service were exceptional. The nightly rate makes sense once you experience what they have to offer.
It was one of the best hotels we have stayed at.

Ravello is a perfect spot in the Amalfi Coast. It is away from the beach and the crowded towns of Amalfi and Positano but has easy access to them via the local bus network and ferries. Other beachside towns (Minori and Maiori) can be walked to with the local buses providing transport back. Being higher, Ravello has stunning views and gets lovely breezes. It is also close to the Valle delle Ferriere walk, hosts Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone and many excellent restaurants and shops. Really a perfect spot to holiday. My favourite restaurant was Le Cucina di Sofi in via Rome - honest simple tasty food, although the Garden Ristorante and Bella Vista sul Mare were also very good. There is a music festival in June each year and while I missed it, I can imagine how good it would be because the ‘stepped’ area of the town is a natural amphitheater.
Be prepared for stairs when visiting the Amalfi coast. The best places to stay involve stairs. Pack as light as possible as buses and ferries and streets are crowded and because of the stairs. I discourage driving the a Amalfi Coast. There is one major road, it is clogged from morning to night and was not built for the sizes of vehicle that use it today so is mayhem. Taxies are very overpriced. I recommend that you use the frequent buses and shuttle services instead.

Ravello is on top of the mountain and not a seaside town like other Amalfi coast towns. There is a nice charm in the town itself. For those that don't rent a car, there is a bus that takes you to Amalfi. There are also paths that take you to Minori and Amalfi, just remember that the elevation of Ravello is at 1000ft, so walking to the other towns will require a walk back up the mountain or the use of a bus or taxi.

There are stairs everywhere, but I knew this. Two beautiful gardens to visit. You need to be fit to stay in Ravello. There are walks around the hills. Good restaurants and a very good small supermarket/deli

Ravello is all about the views, which are incredible. The town itself is small but there are a handful of great restaurants and shops to see. If you are looking to get away from the crowds of Positano and Amalfi, this is the place.

Beautiful place.
Beautiful place. When the day-tourists arrive it becomes a bit crowded. In general it is a tourist place. Souvenir shops with overpriced ceramics and other useless items. There are some nice restaurants.
It is very difficult to get to and from Ravello with public transportation. Taxis in Amalfi charged 100 euro to go to Ravello, pure robbery. The bus takes 1½ hours from Amalfi and doesn't go often. You can walk down to Minori and Amalfi. Takes 45-60 minutes depending on fitness level. Walking up is also possible, but quite hard for the average person.

Villa Barluzzi is located close to the square with amazing...
Villa Barluzzi is located close to the square with amazing views, stunning grounds and beautiful rooms. More like a bed and breakfast, Salvatore the manager is the absolute best! He contacted us before we arrived to give some details and welcome us, took the information of our car service and was in touch with the driver while we were on route. He saw that we had everything we could possibly need. Showed us around the Villa property, brought us up to the square, to show us around and just made us feel like family. I highly recommend this beautiful place! We can’t wait to return and will definitely be staying here again.
Simona House was very clean and spacious with a large well appointed kitchen and separate lounge room in a private courtyard. It is in an amazing position two minutes walk into the township. It is situated on a beautiful street across the road from the elegant 5 star hotels. Simona was extremely attentive and generous and meet us promptly on arriving and leaving. Parking is available if you pre-book it with Simona at a secure parking lot. We loved our stay at Simona House and highly recommend it.
Fabulous views from the private terrace of our room (see attached) and from the breakfast terrace. I believe all the rooms have these same views that people in the very upscale Ravello hotels pay a fortune for! Delicious dinner the night we ate in. Friendly staff with good tips on secluded non-touristy local walks. They have an arrangement with the nearby Auditorium car park for discounted secure parking, and the car park staff even run you back up the hill to save you the walk.
In such a charming part of Ravello. Located in an adorable quiet square that feels a bit less touristy than other hotels in ravello. Great views, so charming. No frills, but cute and quiet.
NOTE: for those who are crazy about having the perfect pillow, La Moresca has the best pillows in the business, even compared to some of the Five Star hotels we’d stayed in across the Amalfi Coast. Pillow game is SO strong.
This place is so clean with the best view of the Amalfi coast right off the balcony. Continental breakfast was perfect. We had a relaxing time by the pool with drinks at reasonable prices. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. They kindly arranged transportation for us to and from the train station and provided free shuttle up the hill to Ravello town square. We cannot recommend this place enough!
The property was incredible convenient for the centre of Ravello. A 2 minute walk brings you to the square. Most hotel accommodation in the area required walking up and down quite step paths in a mostly pedestrianize area so Il Cortile is perfect for older travelers or those with physically difficulties. Plus the owner was lovely and incredible accommodating. Wish I could have stayed longer.
The view was INCREDIBLE and felt like I was in the heart of Ravello. Enrico was an excellent host, greeting us upon arrival at our taxi that he helped coordinate. He then helped carry our luggage and walked us to the property directly. I was in town for a wedding and we had a few friends stop in to enjoy the patio and incredible mountain views. I can't recommend this stay enough!
The view from the hotel is incredible. The staff was excellent and friendly and spoke English, which helped us. The room was large, especially compared to other European hotels. It was clean and well-appointed. It was peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was great. We really enjoyed our stay. A very sweet Ravello cat named Lucy lives at the hotel and my kids loved playing with her.
The property was at walking distances from all the famous places of Ravello. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel is made in an old fort kind of place which makes it even more romantic.Absolutely loved the place.
Sabina was the perfect host we could ever ask. She was super kind and helpful all the time. Definitely recommend this to everyone who plans a trip to Ravello.
The most mesmerizing view from the terrace ever. I gasped every time. It’s just beyond words. The best location that made it all super worth it :) Close to the bus stop, close to the town center, and once again most fantastic views you could ever get :)
As for the apartment, it’s good value for money – doesn’t feel like a 4 or 5-star hotel, but doesn’t cost much either.
Best stay we had on our holiday in Italy. The location is perfect, room was comfortable and with very nice view ☺️ The staff are friendly and make you feel at home. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast each day, which had a great selection of yogurts, cereals, ham cheese and tomato, fresh cut bread each day. Cakes were lovely too and coffee☕ Gracie Miele !! 😊😊
Perfect...the location, the room, an absolutely stunning view.
Very clean, the staff extraordinary. Everything to see in Ravello is walkable from hotel and if you need a bus or a taxi to go somewhere, there are near the hotel. The view is spectacular from the restaurant too, and the breakfast is very consistent. Stay here and you will not regret it!
Pasquale and Marco were great hosts and made our stay supremely comfortable. The breakfast that they prepared was delicious and set us up for days of walking around Ravello and even Minori.
The bed was very comfortable and I have left the best for last...the views from our patio are absolutely stunning.
Grazie mille Pasquale and Marco.
We stayed here for a wedding at Hotel Caruso. The location is absolutely perfect: less than a minute walk away. The villa itself is absolutely fantastic; The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. But the best thing about it is the huge open plan dining area on the lower floor and the massive private outdoor terrace. It was perfect!
This property is literally OVER THE TOP… Of both breathtaking views and rolling waves. The property itself is situated at the bottom of the town of Ravello just above the Salerno Bay. You get the best of both the incredible views of twinkling lights of Ravello, Minori and Maori and being able to jump into the refreshing ocean.
It was perfect for my family. I came to Ravello for several days for my daughters wedding. I had my 87 year old mother with me too. Having a kitchen was great and the deck and view was amazing. Plus this was feet away from rehearsal dinner. Host was great.
Beautiful hotel with a fab, deep pool. So close to the main square in Ravello, we never walked more than 10 minutes to any restaurant or the tourist outings we did! Really kind and helpful staff too.
The location is excellent, close to the piazza Duomo. It’s right next to Villa Rufolo and hotel Rufolo. The property has very good swimming pool and the view is amazing.
Great rustic hotel located on a quiet mountain close to Ravello center. The view is amazing !
Very friendly hosts. Clean and fresh room with all needed amenities.
Great view to the amalfi coast and the mountains, breakfast was one of the best that we had in Italy. Hotel is very central to the main attractions in Ravello.
