At the beginning of the tourist season, in the context of other seaside areas in Europe, not so bad.
Not too much free access to the beach, shops and restaurants with a sea view althought it´s tourist destination with many camps. But maybe it´s just my opinion. I´ve to add that we normally prefer more nature destination, but when we were already here I expect better backround. Maybe nearer to city (we were at the end of the beach) it´s better. Night atmospehere in Castiglione della Pescaia fine.
