We absolutely loved Borgo Petroro for many reasons - it's fabulous location in the middle of the beautiful, quiet Umbrian countryside, it's amazing historical and clean visual appeal, the relaxing garden and other lovely areas to sit, the bikes to hire for a wonderful safe ride with amazing views, the great breakfast with plenty of variety, the castle cat, our enormous suite, the most enjoyable evening meals and the very attentive, friendly restaurant manager Mansour!!

we arrived very tired after our walk from Bevagna and the owner (Diana) was so very friendly, helpful and welcoming. the room was very comfortable and quiet with lovely views. food was superb and our early breakfast made sure we got going in good time for the next stage of our walk. thank you!!

This is a comfortable and well-managed hotel in a very good location both for the town it is in and the surrounding countryside. It has most of the facilities that would be a good base for a family or groups. The standard of cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff is exceptional.
