The room was comfortable and i liked the neat bedding and washroom. And definitely the bus stop outside the hotel's exit door. Breakfast was quite good with the variety of fruits but instead of just sweets and cake varieties, there should be the bread slices and eggs as well.

The staff was very welcoming.
The breakfast was good.
Although the location is a little far from the city, it was very calming because of the Nature surrouding it.
The room was clean and it was what was promised.
Definitely recommend.
Hotel Raffaello - Self Check-in Free is in the heart of Urbino's old town, and takes its name from the famous artist whose house, now a museum, you can find just a few metres away.

The location is excellent, in the middle of the town. Communication in English worked very well, instructions for parking good, although information on accessibility (ZTL times) missing.
Immersed in the green Montefeltro hills of Urbino's countryside, Colleverde Country House & SPA Urbino offers a spa with indoor pool and hydromassage jets.

Amazing location and luxurious room in a beautiful building.
Urbino is a beautiful medieval town. Quite hilly so bring decent shoes. The ducal palace and art gallery is a must see but wandering around and sitting in a cafe looking out over views is just as atmospheric. It’s quite quiet and not silly prices. Local Passerina wine is a new favorite

The city is a jewel!
The city is a jewel! In addition to walking around and through the city, we took in the Museum at the Palazzo Ducale. We grabbed coffees or spritzes in sunny spots overlooking the surrounding hills. We could have enjoyed a 2-3 day stay...

Urbino is not a big place.
Urbino is not a big place. A dedicated person can walk it in a serious day. But if you want to do museums and shopping, really do the place, you should allow three days. The schedules of the colleges affect your experience. It is a different place when students are there, very lively, maybe too lively. It is touristy when the students are not there, but most tourists are Italian. If you like meat, Urbino has it. The food in general is outstanding. It is not a great place for people with mobility issues. Very hilly, uneven paving stones. It is very, very clean. You won't sleep late. The loudest bells ever made by human hands ring at 8 and again at 8:15, and then sometimes yet again. You'll get up. But morning there is so lovely that you don't want to miszs it anyway.

Urbino is a UNESCO's world heritage site, a university town and birthplace of many important fugures, yet overlooked and unknown amoung international tourists. After years of longing, I finally had a chance to visit this mesmerising place where Raffaello, my most favourite painter, was born.

We stayed in October, so not many tourists, to visit the Ducal Palace. Fantastic architecture, interiors and were lucky to see Raphael exhibition. Also a visit to his birthplace.
Great restaurants. Particularly liked the friendly family atmosphere at Trattatoria Leone. Authentic delicious food with great service.

Wander around, visit during the evening where the only activity is students making merry. A day will easily do it but it is not a typical "tourist" town and is all the better for it. The Duomo is closed for repairs.
To begin with, Hotel Bonconte was closed for some time being, which I only found out when I arrived at the doorstep. (Of course they messaged me more than one day before and it's my fault that I didn't check it... ) Therefore I cannot tell anything than the view from the hotel was fantastic and getting here from the bus station (Santa Lucia) was quite a tough walk though downward. My reservation was moved to Hotel Domenico in front of the Duomo and Palazzo Ducale, and that hotel was decent.
The photos don’t do this place justice. The view from the garden is quite astonishing. Inside it’s all really nicely fitted out with a huge comfy bed and nice linens. Urbino was very quiet just before Christmas so we got pizzas and wine and ate them at the apartment in the little kitchen. It was nice to be able to do that. In the summer you could eat in the garden. We sat out with morning coffee and our coats and enjoyed some winter sun - and did I mention the view?
The old house is wonderfully characterful and in a superb peaceful location looking across to the old city. Alessandra and her mother serve superb breakfasts in the garden while you look at the view and listen to the birdsong. Urbino is one of the most atmospheric of Italy's old towns, and I found Ca'Lavalle an excellent base for a week exploring the country and sights of the Marche. Alessandra was unfailingly warm, friendly and helpful. It was very hard to leave...
Aura Relais is a slice of heaven you do not want to leave. They pay full attention to detail without being pretentious.
The views are breathtaking. The chef and his staff are stellar. The rooms are so comfortable and beautifully done. They offer a spa and swimming area. The staff are so friendly and eager to help in any way they can.
We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Urbino. We will be back on our next trip to this area.
We loved the view from our room (number 310). The tile-roofed city and the hills that surround it lay before us, who contemplated them from our wide balcony encompassing virtually the whole length of the room. The hotel is very conveniently located. It faces the Palazzo Ducale, Urbino’s main attraction, and a very convenient arcade leads you from the entrance to the student-studded principal square.
The location, across from the Palazzo Ducale could not be beat. They have parking which is invaluable in Urbino. The staff was very pleasant. The hallways had an unpleasant musty smell. The room was spacious, clean and and airy, but the mattress was a mean, thin and not entirely comfortable to sleep on. But if you're on a budget, you could do worse.
Very quiet bnb in a renovated farmhouse about a 10 min drive from Urbino. Several cute dogs on the property. Heated floors in the bathroom are so nice. I went in the off season so I was the only guest, but it will make any dreams you have of moving to the Italian countryside come true. The hosts were very nice and helpful as well.
Nice place, modern rooms, everything just up to a very good standard. The owners reached out to us the morning before our arrival with all info & instructions - felt really welcome. You can really get there with a car which is something rather complicated with other accommodations in Urbino.
The rooms are in the rear and lower floor of a house overlooking a canyon on one side of Urbino. The whole place is fully decorated carefully and more formal than most places we've stayed. Room was fine for size and comfort. Semi-modern bathroom and shower with lots of towels.
The hotel was in a former villa with an attractive sitting room and dining room and a little roof terrace. It was quiet, with a beautiful view of hills and trees but within easy reach of the centre of town. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. Staff were friendly and helpful.
We had a great time at Villa Liberty.
Literally 10 minutes from the city center, it’s easy to reach by car (parking available nearby).
The place was very clean and the owner is welcoming. He gave great suggestions for sightseeing and food!
Recommended for your stay in Urbino.
Really beautiful location in countryside near Urbino. I didn't eat the dinner not being hungry but the breakfast was good and the dining-room very pretty. If you want you can eat outside with a lovely view, at least you can take your breakfast outside.
Beautiful house with view on the city. Perfect location for a visit to Urbino. The house feels like a palace. Excellent and copious breakfast. Very friendly host helped to book an excellent restaurant. You can walk from the house to the city.
I booked the room last minute as I was not planning to stay in Urbino for the night. The room was clean and nice and just 10 min walk away from the historical center of Urbino.
The bed is extremely comfortable!
The hotel is in an excellent central location and it offers great value for money. The staff were friendly and welcoming and were helpful with booking a taxi to take me to the station.
Such a magical location in more rural Urbino. The vistas! Beautiful plantings. The facilities were top! We loved everything about this place and hope to be back!
nice hotel in the heart of the city, near everything (but with good sound-proof windows to avoid the rumors of the streets!). excellent breakfast, helpful staff.
Giuseppe was very welcoming and accommodated our “extra pillow” request with no bother at all. A very modern hotel situated right in the heart of Tavoleto.
