La Krasse Angelroad, hotel in Fuchisaki

Set in Tonosho in the Shodoshima region, with MeiPAM Art Museum and Saiko-ji Temple nearby, La Krasse Angelroad offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking.

Modern, well equipped half-house with a great view and parking. Fully equipped kitchen, the bathtub with the ocean view round the offering. It is a great place to stay for a couple of nights when exploring the island -- for us the stay was way too short as it was just to stay over and get to the earliest ferry the next day, which is conveniently just 8 min drive away.

Irifune, hotel in Fuchisaki

Irifune is a 7-minute drive from the Tonoshou Port Ferry Terminal. It offers free parking on site and views of Angel Road.

Tori is a wonderful host. He picked us up from the ferry and returned us to the port on our departure. Irifune is a lovely quaint destination, right on the water's edge. Our room was a rustic Japanese style with tatami mats and futons. We had beautiful views of Angel Road. As well as a private bathroom there is the added bonus of separate male and female onsen style indoor bathing areas. These were a great way to relax after a day's adventuring.

Kikuya Ryokan, hotel in Fuchisaki

Set within 1.2 km of MeiPAM Art Museum and 1.3 km of Saiko-ji Temple in Tonosho, Kikuya Ryokan features accommodation with seating area.

Great value for money, located right by the port, with great access to the rest of the island. The host was friendly, accommodating, and went out of their way to help, despite the langugage barrier (which with a little google translate, really isn't so much a barrier nowadays anyway). Also, I received a free room upgrade! Who can complain!
