At Manazuru Marine Hotel, we had a pleasant and surprising stay. It was pleasant due to the kindness and services provided by the hotel, with a most friendly and service-oriented attitude. This included a free shuttle connection to the local station and flexibility in changing arrangements at the hotel. Additionally, the onsen was open. The hotel recently underwent a fresh renovation, offering rooms in either Japanese or European style, with meditative views of the sea and mountains. Nearby, you can find a coastal path to the rugged seaside, and hidden in the woods, you may discover a surprising art museum. A highly recommended destination for a quiet and mindful stay!

We stayed 3 nights at the glamping and had a wonderful time! The staff is so kind and helpful. The tents are very big with comfortable beds and everything in it and on the veranda to make your stay a great experience. The shared restrooms are very clean and comfortable too. And last but not least, the menu gives you sufficient choice for a lovely diner on the veranda at night with a nice glas of wine. We highly recommend the Couscous glamping and thank the staff for the wonderful experience they gave us!

Really well appointed apartment with good facilities. The staff were very helpful even though we didn't see them - we communicated via booking.com app, which worked fine.

I chose Atami as one of the relaxing spots on my busy travel route and Korakuen's offer of Ocean Spa Fuua was what attracted me to this hotel. On the spot is came out that the facility had so much to offer that I could have spent my entire Atami stay inside its premises. The Ocean Spa Fuua was a great joy with its diverse baths and the chill zone - well designed, beautiful and immaculately maintained. I appreciated the amenities in the room and the spa itself, hotel dress included. The shops were an unexpectedly nice addition. The buffet dinner and breakfast was more than I expected, with abundant choice of good quality foods. As I arrived late afternoon I had this dilemma where to spend my evening - in the Fuua spa or at a dinner table ;-) Hotel's location, with a shuttle from/to railway station, just at the foot of the ropeway hill and next to the quaint fishing port, was just perfect. Overall, I very much enjoyed my stay at Korakuen and it would be my pick if ever my route brings me to Atami again. There is so much to explore about Korakuen :-)

The owner was so welcoming and friendly. He gave us many recommendations for places to eat/drink, and for specialty stores. The accomodation was spacious and very comfortable. Exactly like the photos. Loved the Onsen.

The insen was great, we were the only guests so we could stay as long as we liked. The ladies in the restaurant were super friendly.
Turn off
Disliked · Arrived at 430pm there was 1 car on the parking lot- seemed like they weren’t busy at all. Walked in the room and- Spiders and bugs crawling on the walls and floors. Room was dusty like nobody has been there for months. There was dirt and fingerprints smeared on the glass window balcony door. I have been to other Japanese style hotels as I live in Japan, but this was disgusting. I wasn’t gonna chance my 3 year old one to get bit or infected especially in Covid-19 times. Had booked the room for two nights we stayed barely 2 hours and left.
