The villa was spacious, clean, comfortable, and luxurious. We were blown away by the interior aesthetics which exceeded the images shown on the listing. Amenities were generous and excellent facilities were provided. Cups, plates, beverage classes (from pretty Japanese tea cups to glass-cut sake cups were provided). Definitely able to accommodate a group of 5-6 comfortably. Bed was really comfy, clean, and the whole apartment smelled so good.

We enjoyed the novelty of living Japanese style, sitting at the low table and sleeping on the floor but the novelty wore off because we are all in our seventies and sitting with no back support began to hurt our backs. We began to roster the time sitting on the one chair. The bus stop out in front was great as were the nearby shops. We enjoyed being out in the country away from the hustle of Takayama. Spotlessly clean.

Great stay in Takayama. Really good place if you’re looking ti relax and to recharge batteries after life in the big city of Tokyo. The best part about the hotel was the onsen (specially for being tattoo friendly). The facilities were very clean at all times and one the rooms were very spacious and well equipped :)
