The lodge is about 10 minutes' walk from the minibus 331 stop. The bathroom was very warm and clean. I really meals which the two ladies cooked. The kind male staff was very kind and tried to help me using the translator. Even if it was windy and rainy at night, I could sleep well in the sleeping bag provided by the staff. While walking around the surrounding hilly area, I came across a field filled with wild flowers, which was really a pleasant surprise. Good place to stay.
I got on the minibus No 331 at 8:30 am at Aktilek Bazaar Bus Station Karakol. It took about two hours. I got on the same minibus at 11:30 am to get back to Karakol.

The Lodge is in a great location in the village close to fields with the animals grazing. We also loved seeing the cows, sheep and horses walk by the cabin every so often. The service was very friendly and the food was amazing, the best we had on our trip so far. The cabin was extremely clean and had a great view of the mountains.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The mountains are beautiful, the mine hostel is very modern and clean, the homemade food was delicious and the garden with the river flowing through it, is very relaxing.
Although we didnt stay in the yurt, we saw that it was an especially beautiful one.
Getting there by Marshrutka was very convenient.
We can only recommend spending a few nights here, while around Karakol.

Although the village itself is not spectacular, it is a great place to stay if you fancy mountain hiking, trekking, horse riding (beginners welcomed), local food and friendly atmosphere. The owners are movers and shakers of community based tourism, developing nature friendly business and providing job to most of the villlage inhabitants. Conditions are surprisingly good, with hot water, wifi (if one cannot survive without) and plentiful choice of attractions.
