I travelled here with my wife and two boys (9 and 11 years). Arriving here is an adventure on a maze of dirt tracks lined by humble dwellings. Tamalit Eco Farm is a working family farm run by two humble brothers Mohammed and Icham. Moroccans are known for their hospitality but these two will exceed your expectations! We took a tour around the palm groves with Mohammed who has a wealth of knowledge to share on the flora and fauna. He knows everyone. His views and morals are refreshing to hear, and we very much enjoyed sharing our views with him. Icham will explode your bellies with some tasty traditional food. He is a trained chef – and is extremely good at it! Both worked very hard to make our stay pleasant. They even arranged a special cake and live music as a surprise for my wife’s 40th birthday! We danced with them like they were old friends reunited. Thank you both SO much, we will see you again next year – inshallah!

Mohamed was a lovely host and very accommodating and helpful. The kasbah is quite far away from anything, but there is a hotel nearby with a nice restaurant, and you can ask Mohamed for a good taxi who will help you during your whole stay. Quite worth it for the kasbah experience!
