The check-in was quick and easy, the room was spacious and had been at least partially refurbished. The air conditioner worked well and was quiet, and the hall was carpeted and quiet. The view was good overlooking a nice pool. There were towels on hand and changing rooms showers and toilets close on hand. Surprisingly the gym looked good. I did not enter but from the outside it looked well supplied with machines etc, its location right next to the pool means it also had the same facilities right out side the door. The buffet breakfast was adequate but expensive for what it was. The hotel is huge but did not appear to used very much. We stayed there 2 nights on our way north to Merang and our trip to the islands
