Place was a good location to see the sights in the Cameron highlands. Easy enough distance to travel to the tea houses and plantations as well as get to other places in the highlands. Room size was ok and had a tv which had some decent channels to watch and had air conditioning and shops and restaurants nearby to shop and eat

A busy small town. Walks from the town are not that easy to walk to or great. You need taxi or tours to get to all the sites around the town. The town itself is a typical small hill town, now spoiled by too much development. The main street has lots of tourist shops and restaurants touting for business. The food offerings are good and varied.
It is a small town, walkable but traffic through the town, which is constant, spoils any chance of a peaceful atmosphere. As like most Malaysian towns, pedestrian walkways or crossings are really needed but not built. Public toilet facilities poor. The town is no jewel in the crown of the highlands unfortunately.

Tanah Rata is the main centre for exploring the Cameron Highlands. The main activities are walking in the nearby rainforest trails and taking a tour up to look at the lovely tea plantations in the area and then up to the moss forests up in the mountains (about 2000 metres above sea level). Take good rainwear!

Tanah Rada has a quiet environment.
Tanah Rada has a quiet environment. There are some garden houses left over from the British colonial period in the town, as well as many holiday homes. The front and back of the house are planted with exotic flowers and trees, just like the British spring and summer scenery.

There are plenty of food outlets here so don't have to worry about getting food. The local mall, Cameron Fair is still not filled up. There are many empty lots there for rent etc... We enjoyed the local market near Zenith hotel.

The main city with all you need can be obtained and available. All kind of food available. Also at the central point of Cameron Highlands. You can arrange what activities you need from here with banking facilities around
Basic hostel for backpackers. Really cheap. Sleep pod was comfortable and comforter provided. Fan in the pods really helped since there's no AC. Lockers provided and plenty of room for my stuff. Kitchen/dishes provided. Free water. Felt safe and secure for a female solo traveler. Surprisingly quiet for a hostel, not a lot of socializing. Half day tour set up by the hostel was really awesome. Located in the middle of Tanah Rata and a 5-10 minute walk from the bus station.
The place is very clean and cosy. Everything is there stove, washing machine, filtered water and etc. The location is very interesting because it is located very near with the town of Tanah Rata. Only 5 minutes from Starbucks Tanah Rata. There are plenty of restaurants and stalls within walking distance from the place. Overall i could say that this place is perfect for people who have family and want a cosy place to stay.
It was a good decision to book this apartment as we had privacy and convenience. We wanted a living and dining area to gather round for conversation and snacks and this place provided just what we needed. There were enough plates, glassware and cutlery to go around. The filtered drinking water was so useful too. The shower facilities were good too. We rested well after a long drive to Cameron Highlands.
The location is pretty convenient, and you can get to a lot of stores in Tanah Rata within walking distance. Yet it is very quiet, and the hotel is very clean and pretty. So you can really rest and relax. There is no breakfast due to covid, but they offer tea packs and coffee packs with hot water at common area. The staff was very friendly and helpful too.
The owner was helpful and very responsive to inquiries, instructions were clear too. The location was convenient as there are restaurants and dobbies around. And the activities in Cameron Highlands are not too far away. There was a fridge and the bathrooms had heaters luckily. Cutleries are provided in the kitchen.
Charen is an amazing host, very helpful and friendly. Her breakfast is amazing and always on hand with good recommendations. We stayed in one of the private rooms with a private bathroom, everything is as described. 100% recommend staying here if you're visiting the Cameron Highlands.
The host was great, he advised us on the best hiking routes and how to best spend our time in the Cameron highlands. The apartment itself was modern and clean, and we spent some time and did activities with our co-habitants, which made the stay fun!
The classic aesthetics and the many bedrooms available.
It was neat. The beds are comfortable too. For the owner? Friendly.

Super nice spot to have a different experience in Cameron Highlands. I enjoyed my tent and a BBQ in the garden. The motorbike I rentes brought me to the nice tea fields, 30-40 min from there.
Great Hostel in Cameron highlands, very clean and quiet. Very convenient having the kitchen on each floor so we could use the fridge etc. highly recommend!
