The most beautiful place ever! The whole place has been designed with travelers in mind. Dorms have closets for each person, there is a shelf going around your bed, personal outlet, privacy curtains, a full length mirror and the room feels spacious. Everything is exceptionally clean. The staff, volunteers and owners are lovely and very helpful. Truly feels like home, I extended 3 times because I didn’t want to leave 😅 Great location, close to surfing beaches and there’s a little grocery store just around the corner. Thank you Tukasa, I can’t wait to come back!

Take whatever seemingly nice response to this review with a grain of salt. Located only a 10min walk away from the secluded Popoyo surf break, it’s a great place to stay for surfers. The rooms are clean, well presented, have air conditioning and hot water. The pool area is well maintained and a relaxing environment with hammocks surrounded by nice gardens. The restaurant serves good food for a reasonable price. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. You can hire surfboards and the staff assist with organising taxi drivers when required. We would definitely recommend staying at nicawaves.
