Apple Tree Cottage is idyllic. A period property, loving restored in a beautiful courtyard garden. The property has everything you need and was spotlessly clean. It’s a peaceful spot, with a canal to the front and, just a short walk into the centre, where you can find all the fabulous things Gouda has to offer. The hosts were amazing and went above and beyond to help with the loan of a child’s bike for our daughter to use. There if you need them, but not intrusive.
Located 15 km from BCN Rotterdam, ShortStay Gouda offers accommodation with a balcony. There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay.

This is a studio apartment and the classy black decor was superb, and the overall size of the rooms were a great relief.
Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Hofje van Sint Jan provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi.

Delightful location right in the center of Gouda. And such a charming house!
One thing to note: it's an old Dutch house, so access to the upper floors is by steep spiral stairs. This is not a complaint, just be aware that you'll have some climbing.
Boasting river views, Goudse Watertoren, ’t kleinste woontorentje van Nederland features accommodation with a balcony, around 21 km from Erasmus University.

The location was fabulous! We were right in the middle of the old town, right next to the town square. The Saturday market and restaurants were a stone's throw away.
The apartment looks newly renovated and was clean and neat. The tiny staircase leading to the 2 bedrooms and bathroom on the upper level was an interesting feature. The beds and pillow were nice and comfy.
It was very nice city. We especially liked cheese museum in city centre where you can get a cheese tasting with wine. Also they sell unique gouda cheese you cannot get elsewhere. On Thursdays there are (check for timeline) cheese festivals. Otherwise it is nice and quiet city with nice city hall and churches.

This town has beautiful architecture, churches, street art, and historical sights. There also many unique shops and wide variety of restaurants. Try sampling the various cheeses, you will probably buy more than you can carry.
There are many other sights of interest nearby, Gouda would make a nice base for the region.

We didn’t have much time to explore as we came for a friend’s birthday party but we had a couple of walks in the old town, really nice. We loved the architecture of the houses by the canals.
Cheese is to die for!

Gouda is a fascinating old dutch town.
Gouda is a fascinating old dutch town. We took our time going through the 30 stations of the self-guided historic tour and thoroughly enjoyed learning about this small yet once very important merchant/trade town. The annual Beach Festival was going on during our visit and we got to watch some beach volleyball games on the market square (on sand that was brought in).
Disappointingly, the Verzetsmuseum was closed (apparently being moved and re-conceptualized) but we could still soak up quite a lot of history--while tasting some great cheese, too!
We missed the weekly cheese market, though. If you want to experience that, be sure to visit on a Thursday.
excellent location, close to the old town center. very quiet. Inge is an excellent and very accommodating host. we were able to store our luggage prior to the official check inn time. She made a taxi reservation for our trip to Rotterdam and she texted us to make sure all had gone well and we had made it to our destination .
We appreciated the nice touches (bottle of wine and other drinks and a package of the famous Gouda Kamphuisen
siroopwafels).
We arrived early and Linda met us to store our luggage so we could explore Gouda. She was very kind and gave us a pamphlet of attractions and a map. She helped us find our key which was actually just hanging on the wall, we didn’t see it. The house was very spacious and clean and in an excellent locations. Would highly recommend!
Lovely quiet neighbourhood, half hour walk/10 minute bus ride from Gouda centre. I loved the bathroom especially the walk in shower. Host was flexible, provided information for taxi service which was a great support. Breakfast was great and served by owner on agreed time, this was really nice.
Clean, nice staff, very very helpfull. Heart of the town. Gouda is already nice, but this hotel is the Cherry on the Pie 😉. Excellent parking. And good restaurant. Als the nearby ' lightfactory' is nice. Spacious rooms, warm clean. One of the better hotels to be fair.
The views of the central square of Gouda were incredible. The accommodation was a 10. And the beautiful terrace and the good weather made the place the perfect place. Also Malika, the owner, super friendly and attentive to everything. I recommend it
The room was clean and nice, it was not too big but big enough. The shower was big. Parking was available at the hotel. The room had an electric kettle with daily coffee, tea, cream, and biscuit. The hotel has a nice restaurant.
Nice hotel, the room was clean, equipped with electric cattle, Tea/coffee/sugar, banquettes. the bed was very comfortable. Very good breakfast - large variety to choose from and yummy.
One of the best hotels we've stayed in, a complete surprise in the heart of gouda, pastoral, spacious, excellent service, great breakfast, blooming and well-kept yard. Excellent!
Beatuful place in a perfect location, few steps away from the Gouda centre, very friendly owners, safe from random people, very close convenient parking, very comfortable beds
Very confortable cottage in the middle of the city oof Gouda. Full kitchen and Netflix are perfect, mostly on Covid period.
The owner is really nice. We highly recommend it!
cute and cosy location, but very well equipped- we had everything we needed and more.
the location is excellent, the tiny street itself is magical and Gouda is so great!
Location was an easy walk from the train station , our mode of travel for this trip. We used Gouda was a hub to explore other cities in the area.. Delft and Utrecht.
