The only good thing was the receptionist had spoken English & tried to guide me to the property. Disliked · I paid for the room online over the Booking.com. The pictures of the property on the website were neat & looked tidy! But as i have arrived it was exact the opposite! The receptionist had to guide me to the property on the phone as at the time major renovation was in progress & scaffolding were placed in front of the property, which made it difficult to locate. The area where the hotel is based, looked rough, the carpets in the lobby were stinky & to finish the experience off, my room has been already sold to someone else, even though I have paid for it online! I got a cash refund & went out upset, as i driven for 3 days & was desperate to rest & now I was left to look for a room to sleep, last minute prices & availability in a city late night are a challenge for a tired traveller! Staff very helpful and explained how to use the tram - we purchased day passes onboard for 8 euros each. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Need to take own shampoo. Powdered milk provided but we purchased fresh from the supermarket 10 mins walk away, fridge in the room. Visiting for the Park Run in Zuiderpark - 2 mile walk from the hotel - perfect warm up. I paid just under 200 Euros for a three-night stay for two people. This was a better price per person per night than hostels in Den Haag or Rotterdam. It is very easy to get to Den Haag or Delft by train from Rijswijk. The hot water supply was good and the water pressure was good. The beds were comfortable enough.
