The staff was friendly and accommodating. The bartenders at the hotel are the best! A special shout out to Jacub, who greeted us so warmly when we arrived, helped us unload and carry our (many) bags, and then made us spectacular drinks at the bar. The new suite rooms are amazing. The view from the hotel is breathtaking.

Loved everything! Our superior cabin was excellent with a fantastic outlook over the fjord, welcoming & friendly staff, very clean with all necessary kitchen implements, great washing machine & bathroom, own charging station for car and in a convenient location- better than all the apartments we have stayed in over the last 3 weeks.

As the end of the Geiranger Fjord, the village is constantly under a constant flow of tourists coming with the huge cruise ships. The village per se has nothing else special versus other Norwegian villages on any other fjord, but this constant movement of people from the ships gives it the opportunity to be super busy and even more expensive than the normal expensive Norway.ralu khaBelgium - 10Scored 10

It is probably one of the nicest areas of Norway, and the Geiranger Fjords should be visited by everyone when in Norway. Despite the distances involved, visitors should get out and about, driving cars there requires some skill and attention, but the roads are well maintained. (Watch out for hikers and bikers!). Geiranger is one of the most attractive destinations in the world , the nature itself is a reward and what i suggest is that the concerned authorities can add more services here and there to meet the needs and the expectations of all tourists from all over the world , like more supermarkets , more shopping options etc

Nice little village but very touristy when cruise liners are in. Limited choice of restaurants. Lots of tourist goods shops, boat trips available along with kayaking etc. A nice place to chill for a couple of days.

The cabin was well equipped with microwave, oven and kettle. The place is clean and the bathroom was very spacious. The space was just nice, compact but not too small. There was also laundry in the bathroom and dryer close by. This was a real plus as I was travelling around Norway for over 25 days. The location was 5 mins from town and the road to and from town was very easy. Great location with beach view

So many natural beauty places to see around here, and hikes to do. I would recommend hiring a boat for fjord exploration at your own pace. Taking a short drive to the Dalsnibba viewpoint is a must, as well as to any of the other close-by viewpoints. Walk the steps next to the powerful display of water flowing into the fjord. Take a canoe/kayak and see the many waterfalls from up close.SrdanZUnited States

We particularly loved the comfortable seats facing the large window with views of the fjord. This was an amazing, small camp site in a beautiful location. I’ll never get over the views. It’s a short drive or 35 minute walk to the lovely small touristy town of Geiranger where you’ll find a small supermarket. There are numerous walks and hikes nearby and there’s also a small stones beach attached to the site if you’re brave enough to get in the icy cold fjord water.SharonIreland

Staff are very customer-oriented, they try to make their guests as happy as possible. We requested an extra night which they arranged immediately for us. Breakfast and dinner are both perfect. And don't forget to take a swim in the outdoor pool / bubble bath with the mountain view, it was perfect. You can park your car in front of the hotel and all the sight seeings are nearby. The place to be, it is worth it, and a room with a view makes every morning a gift.

The boat to a great hike we were recommended to walk goes from this camping, and the owner who also drives is really nice. The end of the hike path is right at the camping, so we also did not have to walk the 4km in to Geiranger that others had to do. Nice ans cosy cabin. Liked how clean and warm the bathrooms were (these are shared and located by the reception). Nice chairs both inside and on the terrace for enjoying the view :)Annica My LinnNorway

Maybe the hotel is a little old but it doesn’t matter. The staff is very nice and polite. We brought our own food for dinner and the receptionist suggested us to use the dining area. Yes, there is no wifi and no cell phone signal but who cares! This is an opportunity to enjoy the great natural surroundings with peaceful and quiet time.

We knew from that second that it would be a wonderful stay. It only got better! LOVED the staff, the room, the view, and especially the coffee maker!
